"I ordered this product on a Friday and received it on the Monday, all the way from the U.S to Australia. Super fast shipping, i was very impressed. The costume looked great on and everyone loved it, they said it looked great on me and wanted to know where i got it from, so i dirested them to this website. i did have a few problems with it though. the boot tops where very hard to wear i had to get the elastic sewn to the material to make them fit over my shoes. and the red metallic material wont last long as there was already a little coming off when i got it out of the box. Also the skirt is very short make sure to wear some little tights underneath it. im glad i read the reviews before i brought it as if i would have got my regular size it would have swum on me the medium size was just perfect. All in all i would defiantly deal through buycostumes.com, as they are super sized service who deliver an item as described."

"Bad news first: I wasn't able to wear the costume for Halloween. Good news: if you are considering this as YOUR costume, you will be delighted! The costume is one-piece and very high quality. The blue part is velvety soft and sturdy. The red and gold parts are shiny and of quality material. The belt and boot coverings were perfect to complete the outfit. No problem getting the covers over my own boots. The sizing was a bit larger than expected, as others have indicated, so you could very likely safely go down a size. Plenty of room. Comfortable, darling costume. Go on and save the world from the bad guys!"

"The costume was well made and a lot of fun to wear. There were a few items that were ill fitting. I ordered a medium based on my measurements, but the fit isn't perfect of course. The belt was WAY too big for me, so I pinned it. But it kept moving out of place, so I just scrapped wearing it. I decided not to wear the boot covers because they were not big enough for my feet. I wear a size 9 and they didn't stretch far enough over my shoe to work. So instead I wore navy pumps which looked just as cute. The costume was a little baggy in the waist, so I pinned it in the back since my cape covered it and no one could tell. Overall a very fun costume to wear."

"I bought the costume last year for this year; I tried it on & realized the belt was way too big but everything else was perfect! Well, after having the costume in the bag for 11 months I never got around to fixing the belt, so I went without. The costume is great; went to a Halloween/pumpkin carving party and I was warm outside. The leggings don't stay up though, especially after sliding my high heeled boots through them...they kept falling past my knee which was a bit inconvenient. When I wore the costume to my work party the leggings weren't staying up at all & I ended up taping them to my leg, which didn't work that well. Maybe after a wash they'll bounce back. I received many compliments & learned the entire history of a Super Girl fan!"

"Hello-I ordered this costume to wear to work and I had ordered the size small after reading the reviews about the size being somewhat large (I was originally going to purchase the medium because I am normally a medium sized person). I wish I had ordered the XS. When you get the costume the size small says fits dress size 6-10 right on the package so it was a little bit bigger than I had anticipated. The skirt is a little fuller than what is pictured but it worked great for being at work but had I been going to a bar or party, I would have liked it to be more like the picture instead it had more of a cheerleader look to it but that was probably due to the size. If you are thinking of ordering this costume-order plenty of time in advance (I didn't) so that you can exchange it if necessary. It runs big. I will definitely order from buycostumes.com again-speedy and accurate delivery."

"i like the quality of the material, it ran a little short though. i definitely had to put a little pair of shorts on underneath. i liked how the cape was attached. the top would fit a little better if i was little "bigger" up top. but it fit fine. I wish the belt could've been a sturdy belt. it was very flimsy and kept moving all over the place when i used the velco to attach the two ends together. thought i would use the belt tops to cover a cute pair of shoes, but it didn't look right, so i'm glad i got the boots. I chose the size 7--it was very snug and tight, but not too "uncomfortable" except don't prepare on walking a lot in them. my ankles are a little sore. overall, had a good look."

"The costume is really cute. The size chart really helps when trying to decide what size to order. I was alittle afraid in it being too small so I ordered the small but I had to take it in everywhere, even in the arms, but there are darts in the front and back for taking in the costume so it was pretty easy, and only took about 30 minutes with the sewing machine. So now after a few alterations, I absolutely love it. It's not too short and the velvet material is really nice and soft."

"Good thing I read the reviews because this costume definatly fits different so I was prepared for the fit. I wear a small and am 5'7 so I ordered the extra small. The X-small fits well in my arms and body but the skirt is WAY too short for my long legs, lets just say I'll have to be careful not to bend over. The boot covers were a challenge but I wanted to make them work because it completly pulls the costume together, all I did was bought some red pointed toe flats and super glued the bootcovers around the shoe, it worked perfectly, you cant even tell theyre just covers! Im very happy with this costume and the fast shipment, I highly reccomend the supergirl costume!"

"I bought the costume in a large because that would be normally what I would wear. It fit alright except it was really big in the shoulders. Also the skirt is a lot longer than in the picture. I tried the boot-tops and couldn't get them to look right plus one of the ripped. The belt is also no good, not because its not connected that I can live with, but its not in a V shape like it should be! Overall the costume is just "alright" nothing special. Definatley not worth $50 + shipping."

"this costume is true to its size, i ordered a medium, and im 5'1 and 130 lbs so it fits great, i did not like the skirt it is not shown properly in the pdoto it is very long and extra wide, i had to alter it a bit , so i would not look short and dumpy. the leggins were to long and to large width wise for my legs"

"I am a big fan of this costume. It's great for a slightly chilly halloween and is really of great quality (fabric and make). The boots aren't exactly as pictured but are easy to fit over a pair of pointed-toe shoes (boots or otherwise) and are also fairly stretchy which helps. I read a review saying the sizes ran kind of big for this costume, and I would call that fairly accurate - I wear a size 6 and a small was a pretty good fit. In all, great costume!!"

"My boyfriend and his friends have this superhero thing and he is Superman. So for Halloween i thought it would be really fun idea if we matched. Me being Supergirl and him being Superman. I was a little hesitant about buying a costume online because I'm not what you call an average fit kind of girl, I'm bigger than average and I am big chested. But I took a chance on it anyways. Well when i got it in the mail and tried it on it fit to a T. And when be and my boyfriend have both of our costumes on together it looks amazing! It is a little on the warm side, but on cold fall nights like Halloween, being warm is a good thing!! I would definitely recommend this costume to EVERYONE!! It's worth a 5 star!!"

"I purchased this to be a fun fanatsy thing, when i recieved it i was not pleased with the quality. The boot tops do not work at all, the don't even have elastic in them to keep them down over your shoes, i ended up just wearing patent leather knee high boots becasue it looked better, even though it didn't match. The outfit itself did not fit very well and the bel was too big for an x-small size. Also, the sewing seemed really peiced together and the costume did not give an overall smooth look. it did it's job, but for $50 it
