"Hey, the reviews on this website were totally helpful so I already knew what to expect! 1) definately buy a size smaller (I'm normally a small but even the Xsmall was a little big for me); 2) use safety pins for the belt! everything else was great! I was worried about the boot tops after reading reviews that they rip & all, but it ended up working out fine for me. This costume was super cute!"

"This costume was a lot of fun to wear. I am 5'4" and 180 pounds, and the medium fit well. It already had a couple of holes in it when I pulled it out of the package, but I hadn't noticed until it was too late. The quality is good enough to last for a few wears, but will likley need to be repaired. I got a lot of good comments when wearing this costume."

"This costume is great! I was a little worried that it may not fit as I decided to order a size smaller than I normally wear because other reviewers said to. Thank goodness I did! It fits really well with room to move. The belt fits great and so do the boot covers. Like others said before me, the boot covers won't stay over your shoes because it's just one strap in the middle that supposed to keep them on. I'm thinking of cutting the bottoms off altogether and purchasing red flats or heals. Also, it's not too skanky which is good. I am 5'3'' and weigh ~170lbs I ordered a medium and it looks/fits great. Can't wait to wear this on Halloween!"

"Thanks AugMom I bought this product because you shared your sizes! I am 5'51/2 weigh 35 pounds and have 36D chest size...the small worked PERFECT! It would still work for a smaller chest because it is stretchy. I am conservative, so the coverage is good. (Wonder Woman was too showy for me) A pair of shorts underneath is smart. DID NOT LIKE BOOT COVERS they were cheesy and did not fit, so glad I read reviews and I recommend to: ORDER the Wonder Woman boots with this to complete it. I am size 7 1/2 shoe I got the size 8 boot item #179837. It came super fast too - I ordered it Thursday it arrived Monday. I will use this over and over! VERY PLEASED."

"I bought this costume last minute and was VERY happy with my purchase! I'm 5'8, 158lbs, 36 bust, Size 10 jeans. I got a size Medium and it was PERFECT. The skirt was long enough so the world wouldn't see your underwear. The boot covers were a little big on me and didn't cover my boots completely but no one seemed to care. I am so happy with my purchase, this is a great find and a quality costume!"

"So I thought it was helpful when reading these reviews when people would put their size and what size they purchased. So I am 5'6" and 135lbs and my chest size is 34D. I purchased a small and it is a perfect fit. I read in other reviews that the ladies with a little of a larger foot were having issues with the boot covers. My foot size is 9 and they aren't just going to pull over your shoe and stay, however the material is a little stretchy and if you just wear a strappy sandaly type of heal you can pull them over to fit and just secure with some sort of tape. It is an overall cute costume and the quality is good with the exception of the belt but it will work. I was a little disappointed in the way I looked in it at first but I just went out and purchased a waist sincher and push up bra and I'm feeling much better, LOL! I'm a mommy of 2 and things just aren't where they used to be, LOL! But with the help of the undergarments it's not looking too bad. I feel pretty good in this costume."

"Well I am wearing this costume in a few weeks, I read all the reviews before selecting this costume. My husband was Superman about 5 years ago, so we thought ,how appropriate we could go as super hero's together. I ordered the small. I am about 5'4", 130 lbs. It fits well. The skirt is short, similar to a cheerleading skirt. So probably some sort of spankies or red shorts would make for a better comfort level. However for a fun and cute factor it looks good if you go without. The Belt is cheaply made and the boot covers do not cover well. All in all it is not bad. Minus the fact that the stiching had been a little poor in the neckline, probably from being mass produced. I can fix that, otherwise it is a decent costume for the price."

"I read the reviews and ordered a medium (I'm 5' 9", 170lbs) and it fit perfectly! I had red stiletto knee-high boots that I slipped the boot covers over. At the foot, they looked weird, but nobody's paying attention to your feet in this!"

"Not the sexiest outfit but fun none the less. I'm usually a 10 to 12 Aus and listened to the other reviews when choosing my size. I would have gone bigger otherwise, and it would have been swimming on me. I was a little disappointed with the neckline as it was really obviously crooked so I had to pay to get it fixed as I didn't have the luxury of time to send it back. The boot covers were not big enough in the foot area to cover a whole shoe and they didn't stay up so I had to use double sided tape to keep everything in place including the belt ... which was also too big and needed altering as well. All in all I was pretty happy and had a great night in my costume and I definately will shop here again ... awesome turn around too ... bought it late Wednesday and got it early Monday morning."

"I just recently purchased this prouduct, from this website. I had never attanded a dress up party either! but i was happy with the costume and was told it looked the part, others were more happy with my choice then i was! all in all its worth the money you spend. and its not as if i could sew and put together something like this without spending just as much money anyway! i was really happy with the postage as it was couriered to me in four days and im in australia! i would definatly look to buy a costume from this site again."

"I ordered a Medium and am 5'9 125 lbs- this was too short in length and way big around the waist. It would be a great fit for someone with a short torso and a chest to fill out, but not a tall slender person."

"This was the first time that I dressed up as an adult for Halloween and this was the perfect costume for me. I listened to the other ratings and went down on the size to a medium. I usually wear a size 8 - 10 in clothing but I have a 38D chest. The Medium was perfect. I am 5'7 and I wanted it to be shorter so I pinned it up and covered the pins with the belt. The belt was a little to big but nothing another pin couldnt fix. I wore red fishnet stockings and bought gold thigh high boots that made it super sexy!!! I went to MAC and got my make up done I looked like a beautiful, black, super hero...!!! I love this website...I just dont know how to top it next year."

"I ordered this product on a Friday and received it on the Monday, all the way from the U.S to Australia. Super fast shipping, i was very impressed. The costume looked great on and everyone loved it, they said it looked great on me and wanted to know where i got it from, so i dirested them to this website. i did have a few problems with it though. the boot tops where very hard to wear i had to get the elastic sewn to the material to make them fit over my shoes. and the red metallic material wont last long as there was already a little coming off when i got it out of the box. Also the skirt is very short make sure to wear some little tights underneath it. im glad i read the reviews before i brought it as if i would have got my regular size it would have swum on me the medium size was just perfect. All in all i would defiantly deal through buycostumes.com, as they are super sized service who deliver an item as described."

"Bad news first: I wasn't able to wear the costume for Halloween. Good news: if you are considering this as YOUR costume, you will be delighted! The costume is one-piece and very high quality. The blue part is velvety soft and sturdy. The red and gold parts are shiny and of quality material. The belt and boot coverings were perfect to complete the outfit. No problem getting the covers over my own boots. The sizing was a bit larger than expected, as others have indicated, so you could very likely safely go down a size. Plenty of room. Comfortable, darling costume. Go on and save the world from the bad guys!"

"The costume was well made and a lot of fun to wear. There were a few items that were ill fitting. I ordered a medium based on my measurements, but the fit isn't perfect of course. The belt was WAY too big for me, so I pinned it. But it kept moving out of place, so I just scrapped wearing it. I decided not to wear the boot covers because they were not big enough for my feet. I wear a size 9 and they didn't stretch far enough over my shoe to work. So instead I wore navy pumps which looked just as cute. The costume was a little baggy in the waist, so I pinned it in the back since my cape covered it and no one could tell. Overall a very fun costume to wear."

"I bought the costume last year for this year; I tried it on & realized the belt was way too big but everything else was perfect! Well, after having the costume in the bag for 11 months I never got around to fixing the belt, so I went without. The costume is great; went to a Halloween/pumpkin carving party and I was warm outside. The leggings don't stay up though, especially after sliding my high heeled boots through them...they kept falling past my knee which was a bit inconvenient. When I wore the costume to my work party the leggings weren't staying up at all & I ended up taping them to my leg, which didn't work that well. Maybe after a wash they'll bounce back. I received many compliments & learned the entire history of a Super Girl fan!"

"Hello-I ordered this costume to wear to work and I had ordered the size small after reading the reviews about the size being somewhat large (I was originally going to purchase the medium because I am normally a medium sized person). I wish I had ordered the XS. When you get the costume the size small says fits dress size 6-10 right on the package so it was a little bit bigger than I had anticipated. The skirt is a little fuller than what is pictured but it worked great for being at work but had I been going to a bar or party, I would have liked it to be more like the picture instead it had more of a cheerleader look to it but that was probably due to the size. If you are thinking of ordering this costume-order plenty of time in advance (I didn't) so that you can exchange it if necessary. It runs big. I will definitely order from buycostumes.com again-speedy and accurate delivery."

"i like the quality of the material, it ran a little short though. i definitely had to put a little pair of shorts on underneath. i liked how the cape was attached. the top would fit a little better if i was little "bigger" up top. but it fit fine. I wish the belt could've been a sturdy belt. it was very flimsy and kept moving all over the place when i used the velco to attach the two ends together. thought i would use the belt tops to cover a cute pair of shoes, but it didn't look right, so i'm glad i got the boots. I chose the size 7--it was very snug and tight, but not too "uncomfortable" except don't prepare on walking a lot in them. my ankles are a little sore. overall, had a good look."
