Side - white foam around mask
"For a $219.00 costume it's very cheaply made. You can see the foam all around the mask and it's sewin on with random strings. I am 6'2 190lbs and the mask is too heavy for the costume, it sags low (with no ties) making it so you can't see out of the eye holes. The eye holes are above the mask and VERY visable (unlike the pic). The costume is one piece so you can't take the head on and off, so unelss you plan on being outside on in 30 degree temps be prepard to ROAST. If I decide to keep this costume we will be using some spray paint to change the white foam to black and sewing the fur so it covers up the rest of the foam. It's a really cool costume but I'm thinking it's not worth it.

Title: Pretty awesome costume overall
Date: October 15, 2009
"Before I start, let me say that this costume is great but it does have it a few small flaws that take away from the overall rating I gave this.
The price is pretty good. It's still expensive in some sense, but I have seen this thing on Ebay for $250 and up, so when you consider that, it is a good price. Though still, over $200 for a costume can be kind of ridiculous.
The fun factor of this costume is awesome....once you get everything together correctly. I didn't have anyone around at the time to help me, so if you don't have a friend or a parent or someone around, you might as well just forget it and wait until someone can help you get it on.
When you step into it, everything seems to be going ok. You slide your legs in, and your arms, and then you have to get the feet on. These things arent going over shows so unless you like to go barefoot in latex, you just need to wear some shoes with it. Even then, it's pretty hard to get them on without tearing, so it takes some time. I also don't have big feet either so, that definitely wasn't the problem. Though once they were on, it felt fine.
The gloves are ok. The pinky and ring fingers are stuck together. I would have preferred that they weren't. Just makes things semi-awkward until you get use to it. Also, the fingers are very very long. These fingers are ridiculous, and the thumbs are very short. It just doesn't make sense to me. They look great with the costume and you almost feel guilty for not wanting to wear them, but I think I'm just going to get some back gloves or something to avoid the hassle. It's just a very weird glove and it doesn't make sense. I don't have huge hands, but even big guys are gonna have some problems with the gloves.
The costume does fit well, and doesn't get too baggy or too tight anywhere. Though I don't know how much this would apply to a guy taller than 6'1. I'm 5'9 and I honestly can't see being much taller in this. I could be completely wrong but, I'm really not tall enough to know obviously.
The quality of the costume is pretty good. It seems to be held together well, and the face is very durable and rugged and able to hold its own. The only thing is, this thing just loses hair like it's on fire. I know this happens with new furry costumes sometimes, and hopefully it'll stop but man there is black hair everywhere.
The only thing that did make me angry about this costume was the closing it up. Like I said in the beginning, if you don't have someone around, forget it. It has ties and velcro, which makes no sense to me at all. Why have that? This is a big problem for showing up to a party or going out for both putting it on, and taking it off.
I'll be attending a Halloween party and I will be meeting all of my friends there, and I can't close this up by myself. That means I'll have to call someone outside to close me up. Cool. Then if I want to get out of it to take a breather (all costumes get hot), I'll need to find someone to untie all of it so I can pop my head out. That's pretty lame. Why not just put a zipper on it, with a long string attached like backpacks and gym bags? That way I can just reach back and grab it, and pull it down, or pull it up. How is that not the easiest thing to put on this? So now I have to depend on everyone else around me to get me in and out. I'm not going to want to sit under that heavy mask all night, I'll want to pop my head out and say hi when people ask who it is, or if I have to go to the bathroom or something, I'm ALWAYS going to need someone to help me out with this. That was a huuuuuuuge bummer for me.
It may seem like I'm bashing this costume pretty bad but I'm honestly not. It's a GREAT costume. It's just most of my friends and I aren't together for things like this seeing as how everyone is on different schedules and we just sort of meet up wherever. Basically if you have someone to help you out, you're completely golden and the only things that might bother you will be the feet and the gloves.
It's a fantastic product, but put a zipper on this thing, fix up the gloves and let it get the 5 stars it should have."
