"I ordered this hat to go with a vampire costume I bought (at a different site unfortunately) anyway, the hat has exceeded my expectations. it is by far the cutest costume hat I have ever had. I did some price comparisons with other vendors, and buycostumes.com had the best price! good for them! the shipping was also efficient and quick.

the red piping and rose does not exactly match the red on my costume, but that doesn’t matter, it still looks great! there is a clear plastic strap on the hat to keep it in place which is handy. I have a small head (I’m only 5'1...) so the strap is a little too long, but with my friend's help it's adjust just fine! the hat is adorable and is perfect for that classic Victorian vampire look. I am very happy with my purchase. Can't wait to wear it on Halloween. I will post a picture shortly after the holiday.

"This hat is great quality, all around a great steal! It's held on to your head by a clear elastic band and very comfortable; you can wear it all night. The color of the red trim and rose is actually closer to a wine color, not bright red, but it's a great buy. The lace cover is removed easy if that's not what you like."

"This hat is wonderful--it has a goth-victorian feel and seems like you paid a bit more for it than you really did! My favorite part is the thin, clear elastic band that holds it on all night...it was an excellent purchase!"

"The colour is a bit different then the picture. The trim on the brim is a more wine/burgundy red and the rose and hat band is a more blood red. I love it, it looks so much more sophisticated that way. The hat it’s self is a suede texture and so soft. I recommend this to anyone looking for a Victorian mini hat, it’s only glue down where the lace veil hangs from so you could easily covert it to your own design if you want. I highly recommend it and I wish I bought two of them!"
