"I bought this costume for our Halloween party this weekend and this is in my top two costumes of all time. I love it!! The lace is more of a cream color as stated below but it looks amazing! I received so many compliments about my costume. It is great quality and people said that it looked very theatrical... they even asked if I had rented it!! Overall, this is a great costume. I can't wait to wear it again!! As always, quite happy with my purchase!!"

"I always have trouble finding a costume that I like and is good quality. After reading a lot of reviews on different costumes, I decided to purchase this one. The costume is awesome, looks great and holds up well. Everyone loved it. This costume definitely needs the petticoat for the full effect and I would recommend you get the red one. "I bought this costume to wear to work the day before Halloween. Since I was wearing this to work, length was important. While the skirt is definitely shorter side in terms of what I'd normally wear, I think it was a much better length than most women's costumes offer. Adding a petticoat is a must, not only to add an extra inch or two to the skirt length, but because the extra added "poof" in the skirt improves the outfit even more. I went with white, which Iooked fine even though the skirt is more of a light ivory. I also wore black leggings to make the outfit work appropriate, though I would have felt comfortable going without them at a non-work function. I bought the swashbuckler hat, the pirate boots (with red ribbons), and the pirate sword from BuyCostumes, and they did a great job of completing the look. My costume was a hit at work. Everyone wanted me in a picture.
I went back and forth for weeks about whether to buy this costume. I really wish I hadn't waited so long. By the time I decided to buy it, it was sold out. Luckily, 4 days before Halloween, the L and XL came into stock. The large fit nicely. For reference, I'm 5'4'', 150 lbs. As I mentioned above, the skirt is definitely a decent length considering most women's costumes don't even pretend to try to hide your backside. Also, given that I am not a size 2, I have to say this costume does an excellent job of flattering a notsoperfect figure. This outfit shows off your curves without highlighting problem areas."

"I recommend buying this costume, it's a little bit pricey, but worth it. I love this costume, it's really good quality, very flattering and so much fun to wear. Buy the hat and petticoat to complete the look. I suggest buying your true size, the costume is made with stretch fabric. As per other reviews I bought a size up and it was a tiny bit large in the shouders."

I also bought a wig that was long and blonde plus the hat, which is a MUST. I won best costume at a Halloween party, which I was not expecting because I thought I was a pirate and who cares about a pirate? Well a HOT PIRATE is a whole different story. You Must get the boots they offer that are chocolate with gold bands, looks super hot!"

"This costume is awesome. I ordered it for my daughter for a pointe pirate dance. The quality of the fabric was great. The only negative thing I would say is it ran a little small. My daughter is 5' 9" and wears a size 0. I ordered the size small and was expecting it to be a little big, it wasn't, no one that wears a size 2-4 would fit in the small. It was also really short, barely covered her bottom in the back, but she wore it like a jacket and paired it with black leggings and it looked great!"
"I loved this costume from the moment I laid eyes on it! It was perfect in every way.... after a few minor adjustments were made. It's a little longer than it is on the model. I cut about 3" off the skirt and trimmed the ribbon that ties it in the front and it looked perfect! Great quality, very comfortable, fits true to size, it's breathable, over all a FANTASTIC costume. The white is more of a cream/off white color. It is still beautiful though!
I paired it with the fishnets and stiletto "pirate" knee boots and it looked just like it did on the model.
If you're thinking about buying this, BUY IT! You will not be disappointed!"

"This was awesome! I wore leggings instead of fishnet stalkings to make it work appropriate, especially because the back is about 3 inches shorter than the front. I ordered a red petticoat to add length and color to the costume. When I received the costume in the mail there was one button torn off the costume but that was an easy fix. Overall, I had an awesome halloween- I even won a costume award at work! =)"

"I loved this costume! Its very cute and fun to wear, I got a lot of compliments and stares wearing it. It's a bit pricey but its a very good quality. The actual costume is a bit different than what the model in the picture is wearing. It actually has shorter sleeves that end in the middle of your forearm, and also the lace is not white, its more of an off-white color. I have noticed a lot of people said the size was off, I am 5'5" and 105 lbs and found that a small fit me perfectly."

"I can't wait to wear this costume. The costume is fairly well-made, and the fabric does not feel cheap in the least. I am generally a small, and ordered a medium, which fits perfectly. It looks absolutley perfect with the "Anna" boots. I purchased a white tear-drop lace petticoat which I have darkened by dying with tea. I originally purchased a red fluffy petticoat, but the fluffyness was too much and the red really was too jarring at the bottom of the dress. I definately recommend this costume."

"This costume is fab. It looks great and good quality. I always hate when people write reviews about costumes and don't put there measurements and what size they got. So here goes. My measurements are 40, 33, 43, and i normally wear a 12 or L-XL. I listened to the reviews and got the 1x-2x, i was worried that it would be too big. It fits great, and i don't feel strapped it. The ties in the front are great because you can let them out or cinch them. I cinched mine all the way and it looks great, i might have gotten away with getting the XL instead because i could have let the ties out. I also got a puffy under-skirt and i totally recommend it, it really adds the extra thing the costume needs. I wish it was a little bit shorter and i'm thinking about pinning the top down a little to show some cleavage, just for fun. Other then that its super awesome."
