"Costume was costly and when it arrived had many threads of string hanging from it. The fit was poor and had to do many alterations in order for it to fit correctly. The cape that came with the outfit was put together wrong, the strap wasnt put on the right way. I would not recommend this product! It's cheaper and better quality to make your own!"

"I am a dress size Aust 14-16 (bust 100cm; waist 90cm and hips 104cm) so I got the plus size costume but should not have. The back of the strapless bodice is stretchy fabric so it stretches heaps. I had to take it in 2-3inches on both sides so it was tight and stayed up. It is a good length though (I wanted my bottom covered!) I should have just got the large or even the medium.
The quality is ok but I had to spend some time re-stitching parts so it wouldn't fall apart on the night. The boot covers kept falling down so again, a bit of sewing required. The elastic was coming off pieces so had to re-sew it. The belt was tiny! Had to add about 4 inches in a wide elastic (painted it gold to match in)
If you buy this costume, be prepared to make some alterations."

"The quality of the costume isn't too bad but it's way too big. My measurements easily fell within the sizing chart but I have to take it in all over. Even the boot covers are too big, they won't even stay up and the belt is waaaaay too small. With the alterations it'll be a decent costume. If you don't know how to sew or make your own alterations I don't recommend this for people on the lower end of the sizing chart."

Title: be prepared to make adjustments

"I purchased this costume last year. I'm a size 16. I needed to take it in on both sides about 2 inches, but the belt I need to add on to it, it was way to small. I just sewed the belt on the suit. The cape was a little big and the head piece was tight. The star was coming off before I got to the party. I also had to sew on more elastic on the bottom of the boot covers to make it tighter and also take them in to fit my leg, they kept falling down. After all the adjustments and it finally fit me I had lots of fun."
"I am a performer, therefore I am always looking for ways to expand my costuming. I never thought to go online to find them. I am sooo glad I did. This costume was a big hit with my fans! The sizing was just a little off because although the dress fit, the belt was kind of snug. I will continue to purchase my costumes from buycostumes. I just love the website!!!"
