"Me and hubby were these for halloween, we had great compliments and the costumes were comfy! The face masks are a little cheaply made, but they did the job. Like someone else has said the hat needs to be stuffed to stand up straight, but overall we had a great night! A great couples outfit"

"I recently purchased the Chess Queen costume for a mere $39.99 and was blown away by the overall quality and detail. I have never been so pleased with an online purchase as I was with this one. It looked like it came from the costume rack of at theatrical company. I was a little concerned at first that the one size fits all might be a problem but the bell shape, and full cut sleeves leave room for a variety of body shapes. I was the talk of the party with this costume! Now everyone I know has BuyCostumes.com penciled in on their October calendars!"

"This costume is quite high quality to some of the others I've seen. The fabric is sturdy, the stuffing and details were all higher than my expectations. The hat took some stuffing, as per previous review, but turned out great and fit perfectly. There is a small tie at the waist which helps accentuate the figure. The only downside is the mask was in poor quality compared to the dress.
In terms of length, the dresst just grazed the floor and I'm 5'2". Overall, a great costume! Was a hit!"

"I was pleasantly surprised when I open the package. The quality of the material is great. The costume was wrinkled, but a medium temp on the iron worked just fine. The size is a little smaller than what it states 8-10. I normally wear an 8 and the dress was fine, but it will definitely be snug on a person who wears a 10. I agree with the other reviews regarding the hat. Stuffing it with tissue worked great. I didn't think the mask was cheap like the other reviews state. I thought it was perfect and went well with the costume."

"This costume fits perfect for standard sizing, has enough "give" in all the right places. It really looks great, especially next to the King chess costume my husband wore. The hat needed a little stuffing (tissue wrapping paper works fine) to make it stand up perfectly. I'm 5'9" and it was just right for my height and the tie at the back makes it look very slimming. I'll be a regular customer from now on!"

"Fits beautifully. Just as pictured. Only issues were with the hat (it has to be stuffed to stand up) and the mask (it is cheaply made but can be easily replaced). Well worth the cost for a fun Halloween. Thanks."
