"This costume was made of pretty good material considering the cost and was fun to wear! Costume does run aliittle big for the sizes listed. Mine also came with the matching purse which was nice.
I would buy from buycostumes.com again. They have very fast shipping and are helpful if you have questions."

"I thought I'd write a review with answers to questions I had still when ordering this item. I am a petite person and even the small was big on me (I tend to fit in dresses sized 2-4. and I'm a size 5 in jeans). I recently took it to a tailor to have the overskirt altered to fit better and she took in a little of the padded vest as well so it would sit better. I think it will be much more flattering when it's done. The plaid overskirt is a separate piece from the black underdress (the underdress is attatched to the white blouse). I appreciated that it wasn't ALL one piece. My purchase also came with the matching hand bag so I'm not sure why other people didn't receive one as well. I have only worn it once at the tailor's, but already it received compliments from random people in the store who thought it was really pretty. For the price, I think it's a pretty good buy. Especially with how expensive renaissance costumes can run. It does have red and green and gold for the skirt, but as a complete costume it looks right. Not Christmasy. Hope this helps people!"

"This dress was well worth the money. Because of previous reviews I ordered a S vs. M, and the dress fit like a glove... remember it is a little large for the sizes. The vest was great, and adjusted to fit the way I needed it to. It did fold a little ay the bottom, but that was not a big deal. The under dress is so nice and can be used with other outfits... again well worth the $. PS... I am not sure if it was a bonus or not but this costume did come with the matching hand bag (on my order)... that was a super nice touch."

"I was very excited to find this product! and at a good price for everything I got out of it. I was just a little disappointed with how it fit. Shipping was fast and easy. But It was too big (I got the smallest size too)and it was all on peice minus the vest which was velvet with foam padding and the red skirt was bright red, green and gold, (i thought christmas right away)something I wasn't prepared for or wanted. I wish there would have been more information on the colors fabics and structure of the costume. However I made my own alterations to it and it was great! I would definatley still order a costume from buycostumes.com it was fun!
and in the end I have to remember it is a costume!"
