"I throughly enjoyed this costume. The pink slip dress that came with it was not as great as the picture. It is very sheer and cheap material. I improvised and used the white Ann Darrow dress instead. I got so many laughs and complements. Everyone wanted to try on the hand. I wore this all day and was sad when I had to take it off! GOOD TIMES!"

"This was a really cool costume. I bought the gorilla suit for my fiance and I wore this one. We had a great time and got a lot of compliments. Also, it makes a great photo because it looks like he is standing with his arm around me. The outfit was comfortable and I have no complaints on the construction. The only downfall is that the hand was a little big around so I had to keep turning it so that it faced the right way."

"I was looking for a costume that was cute (you can get away with wearing next to nothing out on Halloween) and a little bit funny and unexpected. This is definitely it if you don't mind putting in some extra work. The gorilla hand is very amusing and you can wear it without being totally covered up. The dress it comes with, however, is totally unwearable. Not only is it pink (Ann Darrow wears white in King Kong) but it is made with the cheapest, stiffest acetate fabric I've ever been unfortunate enough to touch. Though it could stand up on it's own, it's also sheer. To top it off, it has a ridiculous little bolero that has torn edges made of the same fabric. It is a total no, which I knew prior to buying thanks to someone else's review. I am making a little white sheath dress to go under it, I'm sure you could buy a white slip if you're not crafty. The hand alone is worth the money, find another dress to wear."

"The dress is pink not white, and is as expected a really cheap material, but for what it costs we made it work and it looked great with a little TLC. The hand is pretty large for a petite girl probably better fitted for a 32"+ waist. Overall worth the cost and a great unique attention getter."

"What they don't show in this photo is: 1. The dress is pink, not cream, like in the movie. 2. The dress is ripped all the way up to your panties, right in the front/middle of the dress. Tacky. 3. The dress is labled "one size fits all". On the bag, it reads, "Max size: 12". What it should read is: "Poorly constructed. At most, fits size 8 with small breasts and large hips." 4. The material is cheap, uncomfortable, and ugly.
The gorilla hand, however, is AWESOME. Which is lucky, because it is much easier to find a replacement dress than it is to find a replacement giant gorilla hand. Even the nuckles have "hair" and the nails are jagged, even the inside of the hand is realistic. I'm 5'10 and a size 12, and it fit around me perfectly. I'm still searching for the right dress/slip to wear with it, but I'm hopeful that I'll find one before Halloween.
Though I wish the dress had been better, if you just want this look, it's pretty easy to replicate once you have the hand in, uh, hand."

"This is an awesome costume! There are only two things about it that bothered me a bit. The first being that the gorilla hand doesnt seem to be stuffed enough. If it had a bit more filling/stuffing inside, I think it would look better. It seems a little too limp and almost appears a little "deflated." Also, the dress is certainly not one size fits all. I wear a size 2 or 4 and the dress is like a circus tent on me. I will be wearing another gown with it, however, I may need to buy some sort of shawl to cover up the shoulder straps for the gorilla hand.
Even with that said - the gorilla hand (beside being a little understuffed) is very nice quality and the idea of the costume is super unique! My husband wants to dress up like a big gorilla now! Haha!
I love the costume and cant wait to wear it!!"

"I wish the dress had fit better. I wear a 12 and it cuts in tight right under the chest area and I couldn't find another dress to wear with it because you need to cover the straps from the hand. The gorilla hand was awesome though and very lifelike. If only I'd been 15 pounds lighter - I wouldn't have sent it back."

"This costume is fantastic! I'm a DJ and needed a costume that required minimal hair/hat/face modifications, as I need to have my headphones on to keep the party hopping.
My costume was re-routed to my work address and i opened the box with glee amongst my coworkers, we all tried on the huge monkey hand and it turned out to be a pretty fun day at the office.
One of my coworkers is 4'11 and it looked so hilarious on her tiny frame, she decided to buy one too!
(I told my boyfriend he'll have to go as a handless gorilla now)

I didn't expect it to be such good quality!! the dress however is NOT one size fits all and is very poor quality! if your breasts are bigger than a C cup forget it you will not fit in this dress! "I saw this costume and about died. It is the best thing I think I have ever seen. I was totally laughing and thought it was so cool! The gorilla hand is big and plush and is like a back pack, so it is comfortable to wear. The dress is nice, but you could easily use any dress or outfit with the hand since it is not attached. This is a must have for all costume lovers!"
