"i bought this costume for my b/f, since he loves the movie 300. he loved the costume, and the accessories, however the costume was too short. also, the neck is pretty tight, although this was not a major conern. if you have a plan for your legs, (ex pants or tights) then i think its worth it, but if its going to be cold and you aren't comofortable with your legs showing, then maybe try something else. oh and delivery was amazingly fast!"

"I was the guy from 300 this past Halloween. This costume was nice but could have been better. The cape and headpiece were made fairly well but the arm and leg adornments were flimpsy rubber pieces. One of the straps broke right away and I glued it back. The look of the costume was great when I added fake tattoos of blood and scars. The sword and spear were great accessories also."

"I bought this for a con and was really disappointed. The material was very flimsy and thin and the sizing was way off. Iam a big guy especially in the chest and shoulders and the largest size barely went around my neck and it was so short that even wearing shorts or pants underneath it would not have worked."

King Leonidas & Queen Gorgo
"My boyfriend and I were the Spartan King and Queen for Halloween this year. This costume did the trick, but definitely needed some adjustments before it was wearable. My boyfriend is small, but muscular and the toga was a big tight around the neck. The rest of the costume is all made of vinyl and needed major adjustments. The helmet was shaped funny from being squished flat so long and was way too big. The elastic on the leg guards were really tight, yet the arm guards were way too loose and I had to sew them smaller. After all of that, the costume looked great and I decided it was worth the hassle. Don't buy this costume unless you want to put in that extra bit of effort!"

"We bought this costume as part of a joint Hallowe'en/birthday night out. The fit of the costume is not EXACTLY as it appears on the packaging, but then again none of us are built like the guy modelling it! Although it was initially a bit daunting wearing it (it's pretty revealing) and - because we live in Scotland - the thin material meant we would FREEZE if we didn't get taxis everywhere, but the comedy factor wearing it in a group was fantastic! Every bar and pub we went into, we got a great reaction and it's very recognisable. We even had one girl wearing one (with slight customisation). A definite "group" costume (you don't want to be a lonely Spartan, do you?). The only other advice I can give is that if you are over 5'9", get the XL size for that extra bit of dignity."

"I am writing this review for my boyfriend. We ordered the 300 costumes (both male and female) b/c we love the movie. However, we were very disappointed (more so with the female costume than the male). He did say that this costume was actually very comfortable. However, it was very short (short enough that he would not have been able to wear boxers underneath without them showing) and that made him very uncomfortable. The leg pieces were very snug fitting in one area and very loose in another making it nearly impossible to keep on. The arm pieces were way too big. Also, the face mask was very big and unshaped due to being in the package for so long. Thankfully the shipping time was great (I requested just regular shipping and received the costumes within 3 days!) so we were able to ship them back and re-order."

"The red clock was actually better quality then I expected, although it came with a few tiny holes in it. It doesn't fit exactly like the picture shows, but it was still pretty good. They didn't have a small size, so we bought a standard for my older brother and it turned out to fit him well, even though he's a bit shorter than average. The helmet, wrist guards, and shin guards were made of rubber which was a surprise and looked better then anticipated. We haven't had the party yet, but I'm pretty confident that it'll get a lot of comments."

"Wow.... That's all I can say. I just received this costume and it is by far the worst, cheapest made, ugly, piece of junk costume I haver ever bought. The helmet, arm, and leg covers are all floppy latex. When I say "floppy" I mean every movement you make the thing is slapping you in the face like a piece of bologna. I tried on the helmet when my roommate got home, just so he could see how cheaply made it was. He started laughing hysterically. Enough said... It is a sad sad costume. Definitely not worth the $45. In fact, I would NOT even wear it for FREE. The costume picture grossly misrepresents what this thing actually looks like. I will be returning mine immediately."

"My husband and I went as charactures from the movie 300 to a halloween party. This costume is super fun. He is 6'4" and I will admit that it was too short on him, but we ordered him a Spartan skirt to go underneath. We had a lot of fun yelling "this is sparta!" He even shoved a friend in the pool with the additional sheid we bought. To mock the movie we tapped an empty six pack under his toga. It was hilarious!"

"The material is very thin and very sheer and the cape is way too short in the front and my husband is only 5'11". Shorts will definately have to be worn underneath (and you'll be able to see them) as he appears naked. The helmet is floppy and we'll have to figure something out to stiffen it up as the front pieces fall outwards. With a few adjustments the costume will work but I am disapointed with the quality....even for the price."

"I was pretty pleased with the costume. I bought a muscle suit to go along with it so I ended up buying the XL costume which fit great. I'm still trying to figure out what to wear underneath lol. I have to wear this to work so I can't go commando or boxers and I also need to have pockets to carry wallet etc. The wrist wear & shin gear could've been a little stronger but that's my only real complaint. I bought the Leonitis helmet to compliment this costume but the helmet this 1 comes with is actually a pretty good helmet and fits better than the Leonitis helmet. I wish the robe seperated to give you the option to change it from the toga form into the "spartan" form. That way I could've had the cape and turned the left over material into a spartan diaper...Or whatever you would like to call it."

"This is my favorite costume that I have purchased. It is very true to it's description. The fabric is comfortable and as easy as can be to put on. The gauntlet and shin guards are cheap latex, so be careful not to rip them. The only problem with the helmet is that it is shapeless and needs some support right out of the box to have a helmet shape to it's "memory.""
