"first the hat was not very good and the wig was alittle thin.( i ordered another wig to wear without the hat. the belts were very cheap(the buckels were made from thin plastic) So I bought real belts to wear with it,(Real metal buckels)..after that was completed i loved it, overall was a good costume and was a hit at the party and the bar that followed.."

"This is a complete costume there is nothing more you need. As with most licenced costumes it does not have the same quality as some other costumes. It feels a bit mass produced and the stitching is not perfect and the pants are a very thin fabric. But, it looks great and its lots of fun transforming into Jack."

"the costume look great but the hat isn't the same as the one in the pic and take alot of messing around to make it look something like the the one above the strap that goes over the sholder in't long enough and the hair isn't anything like the hair in the pic
everything else neck down is great and fits fine
the hat that u can buy seperate is the in the pic!
still worth it tho better than most pirate outfits =)"

"I have been a pirate every year, and this year... I decided to go with this one. I would recommend this outfit with 4 extra additions; 1. Get a sword! It looks good when it's seen hanging from your belt buckle. 2. A better wig (if you don't plan on wearing the basic pirate hat). Since the included wig is only a big red bandana with 2 strands of braids on either side, a nice wig all around, underneath those braids, make it all work better. 3. Get real boots! This item comes with boot covers, and so another $30 for plastic cheap pirate boots make this outfit look legit. Black or brown. 4. Lastly, get all the accessories! I got the package that included a wrist cover and compass. The more items around your waist, the better.
I got everything from buycostume. Even last year's costume, too! I ordered my item on Wednesday and received it on Friday, the day before I needed it (for a Halloween Party)"

"all in all it is a good buy for body built people, and the hat is kinda different than the one in the pic, the diagonal belt is shorter than what is supposed to be, unfortunately i didn't get the brown coat the are mentioning in the website, but they should send it when it is back in stock again."

"This is a great costume however it is sized by waist size, I got the 34-36" for my boyfriend who wears 34" and is 6' and he has to wear a tshirt under it because it shows his stomach, also the pants are far too short so we will have to find something else to wear with it. For the money we paid they could have made it a little higher quality as well. Also the vest and 2 waist belts are all one piece, so if you're planning on trying to piece it out, that won't work either."

"I am very satisfied with the Jack Sparrow costume. I am also satisfied with the short time that it took for me to receive it in even though I used economy shipping(which was free!) The only thing I did not like was that the hat was crushed and it is very hard trying to reform it back to the way that it should look. It also seems to be big for anyone to wear. I may opt out of wearing it with the costume due to this. Otherwise, I am very satisfied. As a big fan of the movie trilogy, this is the perfect costume for me."

"For those of you pulling your hairs out because you want to get this costume but want to know certain information about it before ordering, I will try to cover all of it since I was wondering the same thing before ordering this.
First of all the hair that comes with it is not as much as the picture shows. The picture shows a dreadlocks wig in addition to the included bandanna and hair. You wont need an additional wig because the included hair looks good as it is.
The boot covers flap out less than whats shown in the picture. I recommend that you get a pair of pirate boots instead and discard the boot covers if you want to get an accurate pirate look. The boot covers don't look bad but they are not the best.
The color of the whole costume is lighter than whats shown in the picture and the fabric is typical Halloween costume cheap fabric (very thin). Treat this costume with care so it will last.
If you are tall the pants will be hard to keep tuck inside the boots.
Don't worry about the teen size. It will fit you. I am 5-6, weight 135 lb and have a waist of 30 and the teen size fits very well. the inside shirt front opening goes way down on your chest. No big deal.
Lastly the hat is hard to get it to look as in the picture but not impossible. It is made from thin fabric and has bendable metal wires inside so you can shape it the way you want it.
Overall is a great costume and looks great with the addition of pirate boots."

"Overall, not a bad costume. You get what you pay for. Material is thin nylon. Coat sleeves are very long. Belts are a typical thin faux leather with styrofoam buckles. Boot tops do not flare out like in the picture, rather tight to the leg. Not much hair, 3 braids on each side. Hat is kinda goofy."
