"This costume fits really well. My boyfriend is a true men's medium and the teen size was perfect. I thought it might be a bit small but it fits really well.
The shirt material is really nice.The belts are a bit cheap...plastic buckles...but they look alright and unless you touch them... I don't think anyone would know.
It looks on the package and picture like there is more sash than there really is...it definitely doesnt have that level of bulk to it.
All in all it's really cute and we make one fantastic couple o pirates...arrrrr ;)"

"The best part of the order was the shipping - I received it within a week! The costume does resemble the picture, but definately lacks the quality you think your getting. The attached shirt was not white (it's beige), the belt buckles are paper plate plastic and the pants barely make it to the knee. They should NOT sell this costume in adult sizes!"

"My husband only needed a one time use outfit so for the discount price, we thought we were getting a deal. However, the material is really cheap nylon and even at $29.99, its way overpriced. The good thing is that the costume is fun to wear and fits exactly true to size."

"I just wanted to let women know that this costume can work for them too- especially if you are shapely. I am large framed and curvy and the costume fit me very well, if you have a large chest this costume will work for you, and can even have a bit of the sexy factor, which is nice. I wanted a good pirate costume at a reasonable price, preferably POTC related, but the ones sold for women are usually tiny/based on junior's sizes. I decided to give this one a go, because with a shapely figure I predicted it might actually look similar to the women's version on me, and it did. Belts are flimsy and the hairpiece is worthless, but overall a good costume for the price that you can add your own flair too. I added a sash of my own."

"Costume is just as pictured and good quality. Only improvement would be in the attached hair/braids as there are so few of them (8). We bought a pirate wig for a better look. Also, pants are knicker length and if you are 6ft or close to it, the pants will not fit inside high boots or boot toppers and you will have a gap between pants and boots tops. I found another pair of pants for my husband that fit better. But if you are a shorter male, these should fit."

We ordered it on the Saturday and because we live in Australia we were a little worried that it might not turn up in time for our function on the following Saturday. "I liked the costume for the most part. The hat was the biggest let down, it's actually not even close to the real thing and too big. The other funny thing is the fake hair isn't enough, basically makes you look scraggly. I got past this by tying it back in a ponytail, which actually looks pretty realistic.
Honestly, for what you pay for the outfit it's pretty good. One thing to note is if you wear the whole thing pray that it's cool out, because that costume really keeps you warm."

"Costume is thin, but holds together well. For someone with a broad chest, it needs a lace to bring the slit over the chest back together, so the shirt lays right on the body. For someone who is tall (6'2" or taller) they will need knee-high boots, because the pantaloons only come right to the kneecap, pulled tightly down."

"Costume is much nicer than some other cheaper alternatives. I have a 44" chest and this outfit is perfect for guys who works out. The only gripe I have is that it doesnt come with boot covers. You can buy the same brand of boot covers on ebay, or other stores online though. Material is pretty cheap but for 33.99, I have no complaints. Ahooo Matey!
