Title: Poor Quality / Terrible Wings Date: October 21, 2008
"My daughter tried this costume on for 5 minutes and the shoulder strap was already halfway torn off the costume. The material is not easily sewed back on. The costume was a wrinkled up mess when it arrived. I was able to iron it out on lowest iron setting (started to stick a little, so be really careful). The wings are just terrible - they flop backwards and look sloppy. The back panel is awkward and big. Hopefully they will stay in place if we safety pin them on. It might be better to buy separate wings to use with the costume instead of the ones that it came with."

"My 6 year old daughter, Lydia wore this for Halloween. When we had received this we tried it on her. The length is perfect and her chest was a little loose, so it was great to be able to put a long sleeve shirt under her costume. The picture doesn't show the true size, how much it blooms out around the child or the true sparkle to it. This is truly an excellent product and we will be able to use this for a dress up parties and for Halloween next year too!"

"My daughter fell in love with this costume. She loves feeling like a princess and this dress does just that! Thoughti had to add a shirt underneath for the cold weather... i was still able to make it work. The one problem i did have with this costume is the wings... they were a pain in the butt sooo we decided not to use them...just being a princess instead of a fairy princess was fine with her! Overall very beautiful dress and very well made. Perfect for any princess :)"

Title: The Wings R A PAIN In The U Know What!! Date: October 18, 2008
"The costume is beautiful but the wings are the horror story.
You have to buy see through thread then sew them after you put them under that back piece then you have to sew the side part to the the little panel to the wings won't droop. It's just a big ole pain but it's a beautiful dress. Just the wings are the true PITA!"

"The dress is beautiful and well made for the price. The wings, however, are terrible! They attach via velcro to a flimsy piece of fabric on the back of the dress. The fabric is unable to support the wings and so they do not stay upright. My daughter was extremely disappointed that we had to return this costume."

"This item was fantastic for my almost 2 year old. She didn't fuss having it on, so it had to be comfortable. We received so many compliments on what a beautiful gown she had. The only problem was the wings had to pinned to the back of the gown to help them stay up straight, but that was no big deal. The wings even came with super velcro so they stayed put through a playgroup halloween party and trick or treating! I loved this costume for my daughter. It was great!"

"We bought this costume for our daughter, who is 5 but runs a little big. The item is a 4-6x size, and is tight on her (but not so much that it's not useable). The embossed material needs substantial smoothing before use, but the dress is very pretty. The wings rest on a plasic-backed "card" (it's original, I must admit), and we've secured it a little better in the corners so the wings aren't floppy. Overall, we're happy with the purchase for the money, and she, of course, is thrilled :)"
