"I was really excited when i ordered this for Oktoberfest - its the perfect size for your keys, makeup, camera, etc! However dont plan on taking it anywhere else - it looks very plastic and the velvet beer foam doesnt always stay down. But a must have for any beer wench out there!"

Title: Cute but cheap looking Date: November 20, 2009
"The purse is really cute with the right costume, however it is very cheap looking. It served its purpose and does work nicely because it has draw strings at the top which works great to carry the purse on your wrist (unlike others that require you to carry it by the handle). The purse ships flat and is very hard to restore its shape (I kept mine stuffed for over a week before I used it and it still wasn't shaped properly). It has a plastic covering to give it a "glass look", but the inner material wrinkles and doesn't stick to the plastic so it just looks cheap. It did compliment my costume, however was a little pricey for the quality. It wasn't great, but I would still recommend it if you need a purse for a beer related costume."

"This purse looked so cute online, but once I received it I found out different. It is no bigger than the size of an actual beer mug (I believe it's smaller actually) & it looks very cheap. Especially because of the plastic that is over the purse. I'm sure they added the plastic cover for a more realistic look (to give it a shiny, glassy look), but it doesnt work."

"I didn't know what to expect when ordering this handbag to go with a German Beer Maid costume however when I received it was better than I anticipated! There are the drawstrings on top to close the bag as well as clear "handles" you can also hold the bag by. It is larger than I thought so I can carry a cell phone, lipstick, license and a little cash for a fun night on the town, a costume party or Halloween! Definitely won't be anyone else with the same handbag when you use this one."

"I got this handbag to go with my 'Gretel Elite Collection Adult Costume' and was a smash hit. Everyone loved the idea of a themed handbag, and it enabled me to carry my wallet, etc. around for the evening while staying in character. My only complaint is that the knots on the drawstrings didn't survive the night and will have to be rethreaded before it can be used again. Check your knots before going out with this handbag, but I still highly recommend it for a fun addition."

"The picture dosn't show but the "mug" is WAY smaller than it looks, also, it has a clear plastic coating over the whole thing. The package gets smooshed apon shipping. I took a hair dryer to heat up the plastic and mold it into shape, and shoved a balled up towel into it to hold the shape while I did that."

"May have been a tie between the compliments I got on my costume and the number of people who wanted my purse. By the end of the night at my first party, the hostess had convinced me to give it to her after Halloween was over. Many loved it. Wasn't exactly what I had anticipated from the picture, but not sure why. It still worked perfect and looked as cute as I had wanted it to. Plenty of room for everything I needed to carry with me, in fact, I ended up carrying some friend's stuff in there as well. Loved it!"

"i didn't want to ruin the look of my oktoberfest costume by carrying my regular handbag and this was a great solution! it was a bit out of shape when it arrived but i got heaps of comments on it and it was easy to just loop the drawstrings over my arm for the night."

"Very cute little purse. I ordered this to go with the Beer Garden Girl costume for Oktoberfest this weekend. Well, plans changed and I won't be wearing the costume, but I will be taking the beer mug handbag with me! It's just big enough for necessities! Keys, cell phone, lipstick and money. As long as you loop the straps around your wrist, you shouldn't have much of a problem with the top opening on you. Would be better if it zipped maybe."

"I purchased this beer mug purse because my boyfriend and I are often going to various beer events. This was a fun accessory to have for those occasions. I was surprised to see that it had a plastic covering on the outside, I thought that it was just a fabric purse. It is a cute novelty item, I only wish that there were some zipper or something the close it up. the drawstring top is not all that secure. I am sure that I will get many fun uses out of it...."
