"This is a beautiful costume. I added a sheer crimson stole to make it look Roman. The quality of costumes in local stores is quite poor, but this costume is of excellent quality, with good detail, and I will wear it for years. The size runs small, so I recommend ordering a size larger.
This is my second costume by "In Character" and they have both been fabulous. Buy Costumes delivered the costume quickly, and processed by initial return (small size) quickly, and I recommend this website."

"My partner bought me this dress a while ago for a toga party (yes, I know it's not a toga; I was accused of "cheating" at the party! 0.o), and it is gorgeous. I got a lot of compliments and felt really pretty - there is a chiffon drape at the back that I pinned to the tiara for a 'vestal virgin' veil-type effect. The look is lovely, the shipping was quick, and I only had to put in a couple of stitches to attain a perfect fit! A+."

"Great costume. The material is nice and thick, not your regular cheap costumes found everywhere else. The chiffon accents really do pull the gown together. The gold leaf tiara is the only thing I would consider cheap looking, even the gold leaf necklace is decent quality. This costume is sexy without being overly revealing or tight. I can see wearing this costume for many seasons to come."

"This was my first purchase from this website and I was not disappointed. It arrived very quickly (within 5 days) and it fits like a glove! The fabric is not cheap so I'm not worried about my costume falling apart half way through the night. It is also heavy enough to keep me warm but it flows if I need breeze. "I love this costume. It manages to be modest while still being pretty, which has proven to be fairly elusive combination when it comes to halloween costumes. The quality of the costume is also a plus, the fabric is on the thicker size, and it will hold up to many wears... which is more than you can say for most costumes! As others have said, it is a little tight in the bust area, so order a up a size if you think this may be an issue. Other than that, I am extremely pleased with this costume and would recommend it to anyone looking for something special to wear."

"I picked out this costume because it seemed like a good choice - a little sexy, but fairly classy. The delivery was fast - about a week. If you are larger chested, you might want to go up a size; the costume fits, but it's a little tight in the bust! I had to put a hook and eye at the top as because the bust is a little tight, the zipper wants to slide down. I'm a 36D and I ordered a large. Other than that, I'm looking forward to wearing it out this halloween."

"Ordered this in a Medium for my Aussie 10 - 12 girlfriend, and not only was the shipping from ordering until delivery as phenomenally fast as ever (four days, but only if you include a weekend), but it's a gorgeous piece and fits beautifully. There was a bit of loose chiffon on one side of the bodice that seemed to be a bit assymetrical, but a simple pintuck up at the shoulder and it's not an issue; it will take approximately two stitches to fix permanently, and so is barely an issue at all. There is a lovely drape on the back from the shoulders down, which can also be worn up, over the head, as a veil/hood type of thing (particularly perfect for a Vestal Virgin costume), and looks gorgeous either way. Do be aware that the pretty golden empire band does not go all the way around the dress, but only to the seams on the sides. She loves it. Another great BuyCostumes experience. :-D"

"I ordered this costume after having already gone to a Halloween store and trying on all the available goddess costumes. I must say that I was worried I was going to have the same issue with this costume. When I tried it on I was surprised that the reviews were accurate. The fabric is great, it's very complimenting. The dress isn't as plain as some of the others, very cute. The cut is nice, the back as well is very nice (unlike a lot of costumes). With the right accessories it's a great buy. It also doesn't look cheap, I've bought some more expensive costumes and this dress is good quality for it's price. Overall, I was very pleased with my purchase."

"I love this costume! The price is high but I think that of all costumes (you get what you pay for) The quality is excellent and it fit almost perfectly.
