Title: Super Cute, Just Not So Comf... Date: September 25, 2009
"I wore this costume to a Pirate Party and it was one of the cutest ones there (IMO). I'm 35, 5'3" and weigh 135 lbs. The price was definitely right and it was delivered very fast.

It says size 2-8 but it's more like 2-6 tops. If I weighed and ounce more, this would not have fit me.

The dress was darling, but the sleeves were SO SO itchy. I had to cut out some of the tulle inside the sleeves just so I could stand it.

The hat looks terrible. It arrived in bad shape and just wasn't even wearable, which was fine by me.

For the money and the cute factor, I'd recommend it."

"I love this outfit! I had been looking for pirate outfits and at first was not interested since it had pink and I'm not the biggest fan of pink. But this outfit still made me feel good, even in pink. It was a little big in the waist but the side tying sash fixed that. Its a really cool outfit I used it in a youtube video. I would recommend this outfit, though my stomach is really flat it would work well for someone w/a little more stomach and not be too tight. I also added black tights that looked cute with black boots."

"I LOVED THIS COSTUME! It was very cute and affordable! Its a little on the short side, but nothing that leggings and and boots can't fix! The hat's a little small but its still cute without it (it's also easy to stretch out).I'm a size 16 so I thought it wouldn't fit but It fit perfectly! BUY THIS COSTUME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

"I absolutely loved it, I thought it was cute and fit perfect!!! I didn't have to but a hat where other pirate costumes I found did not come with nor the under skirt that puffs it up because it was already puffy. The price was great!"

"I purchased this costume for a pirate party. Very cute. Good quality, but a little itchy. The fit is great. As someone else mentioned, if the body is a little loose, use the wrap around scarf to cinch the costume.
I added boots, ruffled tanga shorts and a petticoat to the costumer. Really, really cute.
When the hat arrived, I did have to reshape it a little, but not a big deal. I just folded it appropriately and placed little weight on the folds.
BTW, when I bought the costume 2 weeks ago, the price was 1/4 of what it is now. It pays to shop early."

"THIs is a great costume for the price. The hat was a little squashed but I did have it sent all the way to Australia! The dress is pretty and quite detailed. It is a velvet/suede feel fabric.The armlets are really cute and overall it looks great on.
I bought a medium which is fine for me and my daughter is a small but with tieing the waist scarfe tighter it is ok just a bit loose across the chest. I would definately recommend it."

"I just got my costume and I really like it. It's pretty detailed and for the price it is totally worth it. My only complaint is the size. I am normally a size three, so I bought the S-M which says its for sizes 2-8. The body of the costume fits great, I have room in the tummy area and it comes with a cute scarf that I can wrap around my mid section to make it smaller...however the bust is extremly tight! I am a litte larger in the chest, but I figured if the size would fit up to an 8 I should be able to comfortably fit. Not so much...it works and I'm still wearing it, it's just not very comfortable. If you are bigger in the chest I recommend getting the larger size and using the scard to tighten up the mid-section. YOu will be much more comfortable. Over all I think it's a great costume :-)"

"This dress is very cute. I love the accessories, esp the sleeve lets. The only problem i had was with the hat, It didn't look right and was perhaps due to being squished in transit, but it was very small and looked nothing like the one in the picture. The sleeves are a bit more poofy then in the picture but overall the dress still looks really good on. It is very short though so keep this in mind and you may need to perhaps buy an underlay skirt for it. Overall it still looks really good on and i would still recommend purchasing this dress. It is very cute."
