Title: We love this gun!

"My husband was able to start making really great, authentic looking webs right away with this gun. It doesn't take long to warm up and it creates the webs pretty quickly. So glad we bought this."

Title: AMAZING!
Date: July 7, 2009
"This prop really gives you webs like you would see in the movies, or a haunted attraction. They are easy to clean off, and the gun itself is very heavyduty. I am very happy with this purchase."

Title: Great webs
Date: November 3, 2008
"I have been using another way of putting up my webs for the past 5 years. It was a mess and stuck to everything in sight, I hated the clean up. This year I bought a Webcaster to see if it would do about the same job with less clean up after Halloween. I have to say it worked just as good or even a little better than the wet glue way of making webs and the clean up was very easy and no sticky glue on everything including my feet. You will need to practice a little to learn how to get great looking webs but not long just a few minutes should be all you need. You will need an air compressor that can put out about 40psi and hold it there to do webs with out stopping. As someone said in here the glue comes out HOT so do not get it on your hands or spray anyone with it even if they are far away 20 feet or as far as the glue will spray, it will burn them just as it says in the warnings so read them before you use the web gun. All in all it is a great way to make some very real looking webs very fast and the hold up very good outside even in the wind and hot sun unlike the other glue web making machine does. 20 glue sticks are about the same as one can of the other glue making webs but are far cheaper than a can of the other way. Buy the webcaster if you want real looking webs with out the mess."

Title: realistic
Date: October 29, 2008
"Product is as real as they come. Very realistic webs, the only problem I found was that the web is not very noticeable as real spider webs often are, but if realism is what your looking for then this is the product you want."

Title: Professional results
Date: October 28, 2008
"Seems to be a well-built tool. Takes some practice to get the best results. Once mastered, you won't want to go back to the old, cheap "bag-o-webs!" I would be leery about using this product in a carpeted room as many drips of hot webbing land on the floor and bond when cool. The only improvement I would suggest is the final webbing be less glossy."

Title: Good, but....
Date: October 15, 2008
"This is a good product that works as advertised (including the safety warnings - pay close attention to those). Makes a ton of great looking webs in no time flat, once you get the hang of using it properly. My only quibble is that you can get the same effect without spending 50 bucks by using a regular hot glue gun and the blower nozzle that came with your air compressor. Since you have to have the compressor anyway to make the thing work, I'm not sure it's really worth the extra 50 bucks. If it came with a can of compressed air (or the ability to plug in your own can of Dust-Off or something) for those folks who don't own an air compressor, then it would be worth the money, in my opinion. Whether you use this product or the DIY method, do get some of the glow-in-the-dark glue sticks (sold separately). Those totally rock under blacklight."

Title: Takes some practice
Date: June 7, 2008
"Overall a very neat webmaker. Takes a bit of experimenting to get the right effect but once you figure it out the results are very impressive. One problem I have discovered is that in cold weather (like you will find up North in October) the gun (basically a modified glue gun that sprays air below the hot glue - need air compressor too) can't stay hot enough to keep the web stick melting quick enough. What happens is that large blobs of cooler melted glue just get flung back over the nozzle of the sprayer instead of spraying out in a very thin stream. Maybe an aircompressor with an inline water trap to pull out the moisture may make it more efficient. Have not tried that though. Overall a very cool device that does work and make very nice webs. Get extra sticks though because you will go a bit crazy webbing everything in sight once you start."

Title: Not as good as Hoped
Date: November 1, 2007
"While this is a good idea in theory it seems to lack a little in performance. Perhaps I just need to practice a bit more with it but I found it difficult to control the webs. The glue stick advancement mechanism did not work smooth enough to have the controll I desired. I started off with a 20 foot diameter rope spider web and filled it in with the webcaster in about 1 minute. It does fill large spaces very quiclkly but for smaller areas and anywhere indoors I found the old fashioned stretchy web to be faster and better. Also... do not use this around kids. There will be large blobs of hot glue flying up to 20 feet. I accidently gave my daughter a second degree burn the size of a nickel, and she was watching from about 15 feet away. Also these blobs will stick to and destroy carpets, furniture, and woodwork. Use it outdoors and then bring the webbed articles in. KEEP KIDS WAY BACK!!!!"
