"From "Edna" -
The pink Edna Turnblad costume was probably my best ever. The reactions from people were priceless - from little kids screaming "Hairspray" to blind confusing stares from absolute strangers. The costume was exactly what John Travolta wore - I even compared pictures from the "Welcome to the 60s" scene in the movie. I also purchased the wig -- a must have -- for another 10 dollars. The large inflatable "Hairspray" can was a great addition too. To help create the large bust look, I purchased a product called "Bouncy Bosom" at a local Halloween store. I also used a Santa stomach to create a large rear. Every time I see the pictures I laugh. This costume is a must have for any "Hairspray" fan.

I completely agree. The dress was so well made. A couple of notes. It does only close with Velcro, so if you're at all worried about it coming open, just do what I did and use a couple of safety pins to secure it.
Another thing to think of. Pay close attention to the sizes. I am a women's size 10, and ended up going with the teen plus and it fit perfectly. So, be sure to measure or go with the bigger size if you plan to do any sort of stuffing."
