"I have been buying costumes from buycostumes.com for several years now, but this one really impressed me. The quality was impressive and it has elastic so it will fit different shapes and sizes. I bought an extra large (5'07 190 lbs) but could have easily fit into the large due to the elastic. The material was comfortable and I got so many complements while wearing it."

Title: Nice quality, a few minor issues

"I agree with other reviewers...this is a nice, good quality costume. Worth the cost. However, it does fit big. I usually wear a size 8 so I bought the medium. It was too big, I could have easily worn a small. Beware - the petticoat attached to the skirt gives LOTS of volume. I looked huge. Plus I am petite, so the skirt came to my ankles. Had they used better elastic in the waist of the skirt, it probably wouldn't have kept falling down all night. The costume is more flattering fitting snugly :) All in all, I can still make this costume work, I will just have to make alterations to the skirt."

"I rarely do reviews on products but I felt compelled to do one here. This costume seems expensive, but when you see the quality you will find that it's priced just right. It would take hours to find each piece around town, and in the end probably costing just as much but would look half as put together. This really is a great costume, people will totally love it!

I wear a 6/8 and got the medium (I think the small was sold out) and it is slightly too big. Not too big to wear, but I wish I had a small because I'll need to rig it up. If you are in doubt go with the smaller size - each piece has elastic and/or is adjustable so you will totally be able to make it work. Plus, smaller will fit better and be more flattering...it's a pretty pouffy costume so if you go too big you'll look big.

Title: Foxy & Well Worth the Money

"I work in the apparel industry so am naturally skeptical about fabric and sewing construction in costumes. Usually they are made of yucky, stiff nylon and fit terribly. I have an inspector's eye to detail.

So rest assured when I tell you that this costume is well worth your money. The stitching at the elastic at the neck was not perfect but better than most. The quality of the fabric is nice for a costume (lurex thread in the striped skirt, a crepe blouse top), and the details are very much like a professional costume rental (petticoat underneath, nice trims).

Most importantly, it looks amazing on! The belt and petticoat are very figure flattering. Hot stuff!

Fit is definitely true to size. I wear 10 and ordered the medium and glad I didn't go smaller or larger.

By the way, I was a first time buyer at BuyCostumes - and have fallen in love - my expensive children's costume website STILL hasn't shipped, after 2 weeks! BuyCostumes has won my business through its pro & efficient service - will definitely be back.

"This costume is great! The material is good but the underskirt is bad in my opinion. It made way too much fluff and bulk so I cut it out. The underskirt was also not comfortable. Another thing to note is that the shirt part is attached to the top layer of the skirt but the real skirt isn't attached in any way. Beware...people will approach you to have their palm read. lol good fun!!!"

"I loved this costume. It is wonderful. I'ts of great quality. I can't wait to wear it. The shirt and blue part of the dress is 1 piece. The only thing is the shirt is rather light so careful it can be seen through so you need to have the right bra. I've yet to be disapointed in this website!"

"I just bought this costume for my halloween party and its great. The qualtiy of this costume is amazing not cheap feeling, instead its quality fabrics which do warrant the higher price. "Very pretty costume. The quality is very good. The costume has a separate blouse and skirt. The additional skirt wrap is tassled. The head scarf takes a little time to perfect if you have lots of hair. (I have naturally very thick, long curly hair). I found the other reviews on this costume very helpful. The blouse's material is a little thin, so flesh tone strapless bra is a must. Also, the underskirt netting scratches a little. I bought the coin jewelry (earrings & bracelet). I looks great & very flattering."
