"I bought this costume and while the fabric was excellent the fit was not. It was huge in the chest area and I have never had that problem before. The apron didn't lay nice so it made you look bigger than you were. This would be a fun costume if you have time to alter it."

"i purchased this costume to attend a halloween party. i got it on sale and got many compliments while at the party. the fit was great. unfortunately for me, i waited til the last minute(the week before halloween) to look for a costume so this website was sold out of the white tights and black shoes to go with it. i was able to look around and pull it all together."

"I love this costume!! It is so adorable and it will make you look just like you are a little girl in a fairy tale. (We all need that every now and again ladies..hahaha). It is made very well and it is easy to iron. All you need to compliment it is socks (I went with knee highs) or tighs with little Mary Jane shoes and you are set to go! I threw in a strand of faux pearls - see picture. This will go into my closet so I can use this one again."

"the costumes that i have purchaced and i have been buying them for over 6 years now from this site are well beyond what is expected for the price you pay. the best thing is when you buy one they also have all the extras you need to complete the look. the "alice" costume is as cute as the photos and fit like a dream. after a quick press with an iron it was very shinny and crisp. i can't wait till halloween !!"

"I purchased an Alice in Wonderland costume to wear the the Halloween party in Disney World. As seen in the picture with Goofy!! It was a hit!! This is the second costume that I have purchased from buycostumes.com. I have referred them to all of my friends and family. They have the best quality of costumes for a very reasonable prices. Title: Mine arrived damaged so I had to return it. Date: October 11, 2008
"The costume is very cute (esp for the price), but the blue satin had two major pulls on it when it arrived. I tried it on anyway just to see how the sizing was. The costume fit my body well (I wear anything from a 16-18 in real life) but the elastic on the arms was killing me. Had I kept the costume I would have had to have that replaced. Also this costume really needs a wig to make you look like Alice. W/out it you are just an adult in a blue dress wearing an apron. So if you are going to buy the costume buy the wig as well."

"it's hard to find a costume that actually looks like the character... not like a skimpy version of the character.
this costume was exactly what i was looking for.
it fits well, maybe a tad large on me, but i usually wear an 18, so i excepted it to be a bit loose. but it is definitely wearable at my size and looks good on.
the quality is great for the price.
i am very happy with this purchase."

"I've purchased this costume for Halloween this year and as a natural brunette I had to also buy a blonde wig but the dress is great! It's a very good quality and it's nice that it's a classic costume. I've a size 20 and I do find it a little tight around the rib cage area. I just need to find something to poof it out."

"I am going to Disney World in Oct. and can't WAIT to wear this!! It just came in the mail today and it's a perfect fit.. I also got the frilly socks to match. I am on the larger side of the 18-22 spectrum and it fits very comfortably and is sooo adorable, especially since my hair is recently blond! No wig needed! I'm also not sure why one of the previous reviewers said the headband broke into a million pieces... it's not plastic and is constructed just as any normal headband with a cloth covering and cute bow. I highly recommend this costume!"

"Everything about this costume was perfect!! From shipping to all the fun I had wearing it!
The quality was far better than any other costume I have bought. Size of the dress was true to size. I would guess it might be a bit snug for a 22 in the chest area. If you are a 22 with a C-cup or small D you are good!!
With out a doubt I will be getting next years costume here!!!!"
