"The costume runs a little large. This was fine since the weather is cooler and I wore other clothing underneath.
I added an older skirt and lace up boots from the early 1900's for a more realistic look.
Cool costume!!!"

"This is another costume I bought for school. It is something the students can relate to because it reminds the younger children of Mary Poppins and the newer nanny-Nanny McPhee.

The costume is very nice. My favorite part of it is the hat! I cannot wait to wear it and get the students reaction. The dress is rather long which is something to keep in mind when ordering."

"I wore this costume to a very nice early Halloween party in the Houston, TX area. I was very nervous about ordering a plus size costume without seeing and touching it first. I was completely delighted with costume!!! The fit was very good and the quality of the fabric and the construction were very good! I added a belt (for a little shaping) and some fishnet stockings with cute "nanny" boots. I got a lot of compliments on the costume and especially the hat - the little daisy is very cute. Oh - my sister wore the Queen of Atlantis costume and was also extremely pleased! I'd recommend this costume very highly!"

"Every year I read for a children's halloween party and am always looking for something the kids will know and that isn't scary. I think the Mary Poppins costume is totally cute. My only problem is that I'm very short and it was way too long. However, the design of it made it pretty easy to hem. And I love that it came with the bag and hat!"

"The material on the costume is nice. I am usually a size 14-16, i ordered the bigger (18-22) size because I was afraid the smaller size would be to small. The larger size was pretty big and I'm going to have to have it taken in. The overall quality is good, the sizes run large."

"The costume is truly comfortable and a breeze to get into. I would like to have seen one more button on the bottom of the dress. If you are under 5'5" be prepared to pin this one up a bit however for you tall gals you are going to love it. I'm 5'4" and in heels I still needed to pin it up. The hat is very comfortable and the bag is big enough to hold all the stuff I needed for my 1 year old and my wallet too. Finally a "practically perfect" costume in every way. If you want to throw a bit of authenticity into the mix go to the "D" website and search the broadway section and buy the parrot head umbrella. Have fun!"
