"Having purchased the Southern Belle Costume and finding it prettier than in the picture I thought I'd try this costume since I'd had good luck with it as well. In person it fits much prettier than in the picture. I am 5'4" and the skirt hits the ground and really looks more grand. The fabric was much prettier in person. Not as cheap as some one below described, does not have the shinny polester thing happening kind of reminded me of moire without the lines in it-- very pretty-the inset is done with really pretty metallinc fabric and the trims are lovely. The waist and material at the waist seem more full as well. On me the neckline is wider than on the model but allows for a pretty necklace. My guess is if you are a true 16 you will need to pin up the top, if you are tall or any larger sized you should be good.

Flexible style as well, would work for any princess type person unlike Belle or Snow pricess, where you are in character.

Another great buy costume experience. Thanks."

"Loved this dress! My husband and I went as mario and the pricess and this dress was the closest I could get to the dress I was looking for. The dress was very generous in size. I love dressing up for Halloween, but hate looking for plus size costumes that are cute~ I got lucky when I found buycostumes, I couldnt have asked for a better costume! I am about a 22/24 and this dress fit perfect!

Now the dress is super affordable for just under thirty dollars, you will never find a costume for that price with this quality!
Buy it you will LOVE it!"

"The dress was as is in the picture and as beautiful. I didn't wear it though because it was just TOO big for me. It has the tendancy to be for an extremely big person as the sizing stipulates 18-22. I thought I might be able to wear it but nah it just fell off everywhere. I needed it for the next day so I didn't even have time to have it tailored.
However don't get me wrong it's a fantastic costume. I will order the correct size next time."

"This ran closer to 22 than 18 in size so I had it tailored. I like the gold detail and the sleeves. I think the pink fabric is "costumy" but the rest of the details make it look like good quality."

"I was surprised @ the quality. It is made very well for a costume. The sleeves have a lining & are not sheer. I will remove the lining as I feel it will be too hot. I live in South Florida. The bottom of the gown is very full, it is also very long for me, I am 5', & will have to be hemmed @ least 6-8 inches."
