"So my son who was 8 months old when Halloween rolled around was a snuggli elephant. the costume fit very well and he seemed happy in it. he was just the cutest thing and although he was not able to trick or treat we did walk about for a few blocks and he received so many complements on being such a cute elephant. i had him facing out on my baby björn.
he was so cute a little boy, dressed as superman by some very creative parents, of about 4 years old shyly handed him a piece of candy. it was my son's first piece of candy. it was such a sweet gesture and a special moment for Jasper's first Halloween.

the only reason i gave 4 stars instead of the full 5 for comfort was because one elephant foot kept coming off all night. it was hard to keep track of the foot and i didn't want to keep it off."

"As soon as we pulled it from the package my son wanted to put it on. he then proceeded to run around for 2 hours yelling, "I elephant, a Horton!!!" Horton hears a who is one of his favorite movies and he loves elephants. he was just soooo stinkin cute in the costume. he wore it several times before Halloween and we let him sleep in it Halloween night as jammies cause he wouldn't let us take it off."

"I was so hesitant about ordering this online because I've had bad luck with quality and sizing in the past (from other sites.) This costume is awesome though! My almost 9 month old was comfortable in it (and it's super warm!) The headpiece bothered her for only a few seconds but she soon forgot about it. I would recommend this specific costume, and the ones from this line, over and over again. I bet I won't see many cute elephants on Halloween so the fact that this is pretty original is what sold me.
Oh, and as for sizing, I find comparing is usually the easiest. My 9 month old is 25 1/2 in. and is 16 1/2 lbs. and has still quite a bit of room to grow. I hope that helps! :o)"

"Great, fun costume. Its not even Halloween yet and I've got tons of great responses from other mothers who have seen the costume on my child. Nothing at all bad to say. The costume fits true to the sizing...i learnt the hard way and had to order a new one. (and it costs more than the costume to return it from here in Edmonton, so I ended up selling it to a friend)"

"We ordered this costume for our 1 year old. We ordered size 18 months - 2T and it fit her well. She is average size, maybe a bit small.
The costume was so cute and comfortable. Many people ask us where we got it because it is a lot cuter and more unusual than the ones you can get at (most) department stores)."

Title: Could Have Been Better

"Costume was a lot cuter on the small baby in the picture, than on a two year old. My costume came with a broken snap on the legs, and then two more came off before we even wore it Halloween night. But it was to late to send it back or to get another costume, so my daughter wore it anyways with out the snaps. Not nearly as cute. The ears wouls not stay up and the hat was huge. Overall it worked out ok. She is only two so she didnt want her hat on very long anyways, but I was dissapointed with our choice."

Who Knew Elephants Had Pacifiers?!

"My son, Nathan, is 7 months old and just celebrated his 1st Halloween. The l'il elephant costume from buycostumes.com was high-quality and kid-friendly (he didn't even know he had on a "costume", and never seemed to care that he had the headpiece on with large ears, trunk and tusks.
When I put the costume on him for the first time, I was overcome with giddy-ness at how cute he looked! We received so many complements! I will definitely return to buycostumes.com for next year's costume and will also recommend to family and friends. Thanks!"

"This costume is so cute and sweet. My son absolutely loves it and is very comfortable in it. We had to order the next size up, since they were out of 12-18 mos., so it hangs on him a little bit, but hey, elephants are wrinkley, right? It's a little more than I wanted to pay for an outfit he'll only wear once, but this costume is worth it; it's very well made, very original and absolutely adorable. We've gotten lots of compliments on it and been asked more than once where we found it! I'd definitely recommend it to anyone"

"Great costume! I am very pleased with this elephant costume. It is very well made as it is lined on the inside. The costume looks exactly like it does in the picture! The size was perfect too. I ordered a 18-2T size and it fit my 18 month old perfect. She weighs around 28 Lbs. Hope this helps anyone not sure on size as this was my biggest online ordering factor. If you are not sure for size I would go up to the bigger costume. Great purchase. Thanks Buycostumes!"

"I LOVE this costume but I wish they made it slightly bigger. My son is 18 months but he is a big boy. He doesn't have much room and I couldn't find one as cute in a bigger size.
My son LOVED trying it on and asks to wear it all the time!
