"My 1 year old son has a fascination with Bee's. He was so excited when we showed him this costume. He loved it and so did I. I dressed as a queen bee and it was adorable. The little intena's were constantly falling in his face but no other problems."

Title: Headpiece Ruin's The Costume! Date: November 20, 2009
"I would have given this costume 5 stars because the material is warm and comfy, but the headpiece kept closing in on my son's face and covering his eyes because the opening for the face is made of elastic, so I returned it and bought another costume. Besides the headpiece the costume is really cute, so if you can find another alternative for the headpiece that would be great!"

"Love the costume, it was well made and adorable! The only thing was the elastic in the head piece was way to tight, so I had to make a little cut in the elastic to loosen it, but other than that the costume was great!"

"This costume is very cute and warm for your little one. The only thing negative I would say is that the wings couldn't attach to the back of the costume. The wings had the buttons, but the back of the costume didn't have the other half part of the button. Either I got a defect one or it's like this. I couldn't get an exchange because I lost the receipt."

Title: Just awful Date: November 4, 2009
"Very poor quality costume. It just came apart after wearing it just once. Here are all the problems with it:

1). The snap buttons (to attach the wings as well as snaps at the bottom for diaper changes) began to come off before my son ever wore the costume. After he wore it twice, almost all the buttons came off.
2). The antlers on the hood wouldn't stay up, they just constantly flopped down onto his face.
3). After wearing the costume once for about 1 hour, the zipper that closed the back came apart.
4). The wings never stood up -- they just flopped down the whole time.
5). The costume was HUGE. We ordered the 18m-2T costume for our 20 month old who's really tall by any standards (he's in the 95th percentile height for his age) and the folk line reached his ankles.

All in all, the costume was simply a disaster. This was his first "real" Halloween, and we didn't enjoy it because the costume was just terrible. After having paid over $50 for the costume (including taxes and shipping), we expected better."

"I WAS SKEPTICAL IN BUYING THIS FOR A BOY, IT SEEMED THAT EVERYTIME A SAW A KID IN A BEE COSTUME, IT BE A GIRL! Title: VERY disappointed Date: October 16, 2008
"I purchased this costume for my 10 month old daughter and after reading the other reviews I was excited to receive her first costume. However when I received it I was VERY disappointed. The yellow color on the bodysuit was more neon and the pom poms for the antennae's were 1/3 the size shown in the picture, peach instead of yellow and didn't stand up on their own so they flopped over into her face. The head piece fit akwardly, didn't stay in place and has a tight elastic band around the face opening which she hated. I returned the item and bought a Tom Arma costume which I know I can count on being exactly as pictured and high quality."

"I purchased this costume on the 16th and got it today for my 1 year old. She is a very long baby so I bought the 18 months-2T which was good because it fits perfectly except for the head piece is a bit big but still functionable. I love the fact that the wings are snap on and not velcrow (sp?) It is really warm so you probably dont need much to put underneath. The fabric is really great.

I strongly recommend this to anyone!!!!!Very pleased."
