"i received lots of compliments on this costume. It does run small and was somewhat awkward to put on. It zips up the back but the neck is not open and must be pulled over your head. once I got it on it was also hard to get off. But... it fit great and looked great. The sleeves drape nicely and the net slip underneath (which is seperate) gives it a nice fullness at the bottom of the dress."

"As you see in the other reviews, this costume fits very small. I would normally wear an XL and ordered and XL, however i couldn't even get the dress over my shoulders. In order for this costume to fit me, i would have had to get this in a plus size."

"This costume is lovely. The dress is very detailed and the colors are gorgeous. I am 5'4 and weigh 120 pounds. I bought a size medium because the reviews said the costume runs small. The medium was too big for me. I had to return the costume because it didn't fit. In my experience, the costume runs true to size."

"This dress runs small. My wrists barely fit through the tight sleeves. I am a petite/small, but ordered a medium and it still didn't fit right. When I finally got the dress on it did not look or feel right."

"This is a very nice costume. It is difficult to put on, although it has a zipper in the back, the neck area does not open and so, the back does not fully open. As well, since the waist area is adjusted, you have to slowly manoeuvre in order to slide your body in the dress. I wear size 4 (5 feet 8, 120 pounds) and the small fits, the arms are snug but not too tight.
The costume has a lot of details and is well made; the material is of average quality. The costume comes with a neck piece and a crown. The neck piece is pretty and is a nice addition to the costume. The crown on the other hand looks really cheap (I won’t wear it!).
Last year I purchased a medieval costume from the Premium collection: Galley Wench, skirt, bodice and classic chemise. The quality of the material and craftsmanship was much superior, however, the costume was pricier.
All and all I am happy with this purchase, I like the costume and for the price the quality is good. ."

"This is a very awesome costume. However be careful if you are curvy. This looks A-line, but it's more mermaid style, very straight, restricting down to the knees. I wasn't able to walk comfortably in it. Also, I take a medium in the elite costumes (even though I'm a small in normal clothes), but this was a little tight, but it is a great chance to take!"

"Those were my words once I got into this thing. Although the costume itself is very cute, the way it is made is strange. You have to stick your head through this tiny opening and believe me - THIS COSTUME RUNS EXTREMELY SMALL! If you are an "average" size 8 - 10, you need to order at least the size Large. I bought the medium and could not get it zipped up. Try the Elite Gypsy costume; I bought it last year. Great quality and it allows for extra wiggle room. You just cinch it up with the belt that's included. Unless you like torture, don't order the Wicked Queen!!"
