"I loved this costume! I'm 5'3" and wear size 2/3 in jeans, 36 bust, 25 waist, and 35 hips. After reading the costume ran small, I bought a small and found it was too big; the straps were really long and fell off, the chest area and skirt had too much fabric and the boot covers seemed to long! I ordered an XS and the difference was amazing. It fit PERFECTLY everywhere, even the boot covers fit! The hat does need bobby pins but it stayed put all night, the sleevelettes fit, the petticoat was too big and useless so I didnt wear it, but I dont think it even needed it. My hubby and I both went as Robin Hood, we got bow and arrows to complete the outfit and we got compliments everywhere. This is my favorite costume so far!"

"Over all I was very pleased with my costume. Some of the edges were not cut very stright around the bottom flaps and there are only buttons on the front flaps. The costume was also very wrinkled when I received it. It did press out very nicely however. The only complaint about the costume I had was that it was very short. It did not cover my entire back side so I bought some really cute ruffled panties to go with it. They really added the finishing touch to the costume. I would highly reccommend this costume to anyone considering buying it."

"This costume is of high quality. It comes in a garment bag with all accessories included. I paired this with the Robin Hood Elite men's costume for a couples look.This costume fit me perfectly. I am 5'4" and 150lbs and I bought the medium. I bought it months early thinking the med. would be too small, but it was not. I am a 36DD bust and still had enough room up top. The bodice was very comfortable and loose fitting. It is very short, I had to buy ruffle panties to wear underneath because it reveals everything. I bought a higher quality hat from buycostumes.com because I wanted a softer feather look. The boot covers were perfect, they accommodate any shoe. I recommend this costume to everyone. I will be wearing it again."

"This costume was really fun to wear and looked really cute. I'm 5'2'' and I usually wear a size 3/4 in jeans so I bought a small since I would rather have it a little big than way too tight. The small fit perfectly (a little loose in my waist but not noticeably huge). The only problem I had was that the straps were way too long and kept falling down so I shortened them and the shoe cover boot things exposed some of the skin on my feet so I used fashion tape to tape them to my shoes so they would stay in place. Also, I used fashion tape on the feather so that it would be positioned just like the model's. Overall, this costume was perfect and I would definitely recommend it!"

"I'm 5'8 and 160 lbs and got the large and it fit perfectly. Very short costume so if you're tall I definitely recommend a bigger size. Overall quality was really good and the hat stayed on easily with bobby pins. The boot covers were a tad tight but still managed to fit them on. I would definitely recommend this costume. "I LOVE this costume. I received it in a timely manner and it does fit pretty true to size. I am 5'5 and around 125 pounds. Have a 35 bust, 28 waist, and 33 hips. I ordered a medium and it fit perfectly except in the bust. I had my mom take some of the material into the sides and tack it onto the straps because it was gaping so much. If I would have bent over or down everything up top would have been showing. I also had her redo the elastic in the sleevettes because they were too loose and kept falling down. The boot covers are extremely small, but I managed to get them on and I have size 9-10 feet. The key to getting them on is to point your foot and toes (like a ballerina) and wiggle the material over your foot a little at a time. Getting them over the heel and by the ankle is the hardest part. After I got them on the first time they stretched out a lot and I have no problem getting them on anymore. I don't find it too short or anything like that, obviously if I bend over it's going to feel like I'm exposed, but I'm going to buy some ruffled boyshorts and wear them underneath just in case. I am probably going to try and find a different petticoat though because the one they provide is just one layer of tulle/crinolin type material and does absolutely nothing to puff out the skirt. I have to have a little more puffiness to the skirt or else it looks a little weird in the hip area because my hips aren't big enough (never thought I'd be saying that ever, lol.) I have no problem with the quality of the costume. It is perhaps a little overpriced, but it looks really good and is very unique so I think that balances out the price. I live in a pretty small town, so I doubt anyone else will have the same costume as I do. I could no find any other robin hood costumes like this anywhere else online."

"Last year, I was the Pirate Vixen, this year Robin Hood! This coustume ROCKS! Great quality, comfortable and true to size! Only a few minor complaints. The petticoat is quite flimsy but not a deal breaker. Also you're going to need some bobby pins to keep the hat on (no biggie) Lastly, the feather is awfully thin. No problem with that either, I'll just use the feather from the pirate hat that I wore last year.
I'm very happy with my purchase."

"I wanted to set the record straight about this costume. I received Racy Robin last week. It is absolutely perfect. Very cute and very well made for an online Halloween costume buy! I have to wear a costume at work until Halloween and everyone asks me where I got it. I bought the medium instead of the small because the size chart says that it fit small in the bust. I'm 32 DD so I decided to go up a size...I should have gotten the small. I work in the lingerie business, and I find that very few women know their actual bra size/measurements. Ladies, go get measured it will change your life! The bust size is proportional to the costume. For the record the medium is 36" in the bust.
I'm only 5'5" so I don't find the skirt at all short, and in the description they are very clear that it has a 14" skirt, SO ladies, break out the tape measure and measure from you belly button (yes, your REAL waist, not the spot where you wear your jeans) down 14" and decide if it is too short for you before you buy it. It comes WAY above the model's knees and is in the "very sexy" category.
My only problem with this outfit is that the boot covers are very small. my foot doesn't fit and I have skinny legs and a size 7 foot,..ouch. So don't depend on these boot covers.
Also, this costume could double as a Peter Pan outfit.

"The shipping is really fast with buycostumes.com They mixed up my order but fixed it and got a new one within 3 days, I was very pleased with that.
As for the costume, I think it is adorable and fun. I find it very comfortable. It says that the bust size runs small but I didn't really find that to be true. I ordered a large instead of a medium because of that, and it ended up being too big everywhere, but was really easy to sew in the sides to make smaller.
The Boot covers are kind of small, I have bigger legs for my size so they were tight but I could still fit into them. Would have been better if the boot covers were stretchy.
The two things I have a problem with with the outfit is the belt and the hat. The belt is cheap, the buttons are on the wrong side. The hat is kind of big, and the feather is not as nice looking, definitely could have been bigger and poofier. Also there is nothing to hold the hat onto your head.
But I am really excited to wear it this Halloween, the price could have been cheaper, but most costumes are rather expensive anyway.
Word of caution - if you have a bigger butt or are really tall, your butt might be showing!"

"This costume was probably the worst purchase ever. I bought the Large as I am usually somewhere between a Medium and a Large and it was so tiny I could barely get it on. When I did zip it up, the skirt didnt cover my butt. I tried to make it work with and without the petticoat that came with it and the extra one I bought.
The boot covers were so small I could barely get them over my calves and I have extremely small calves.
All in all it was much too overpriced and run EXTREMELY SMALL.
If you are tall and/or have long legs DO NOT BUY, it wont be long enough on you."
