"This was the fourth year that I purchased a costume from this site and, once again, I wasn't disappointed. This was a fabulous costume and everyone commented on how great I looked. The cape looked like red velvet and the dress was very comfortable. I wore it for over 10 hours and it felt great the entire time. I had a little basket that I lined with red gingham and filled with Halloween cookies, just to top it all off. Great value!"

"I loved this costume. I wore it on Halloween day and everyone commented on how cute it was and it did fit true to size. I bought a basket with some red/white checkered material and filled it with goodies. Without the basket it might have been hard to tell I was Little Red Riding Hood. I will definitely be ordering another costume in the future!"

"I was looking for a nice riding hood costume to wear for Halloween and i found it. It is a great costume. The zipper does feel a bit cheap but that's ok. It's the perfect length too. I ordered a Large and it is a bit loose around the waist and I wear size 12. As far as the top white bust part of the costume.. I find it kind of small.. no it's very small.. my boobs don't fit in the white part of the dress as shown in the picture. I wear 36dd so I guess if your a busty girl the "girls" really won't fit properly in the top part. But it's still a good costume."

Title: Go by sizing guide when buying

"I reviewed the sizing guide and started to purchase a large as I normally wear a 12, sometimes 14 pants. I then saw the note in the product description about the sizing of the bust which was not the same as listed on the sizing guide. I changed my order to an XL as I am a 38 bust and the note in the description said according to my size I should get the XL. I did get it and it is too big. I am sending back and have ordered the large instead today. I tried cinching up the garmet on the vest area but it still was way too loose in the stomach and hip area. Other than that I LOVE it! I love that it's not too revealing as we are having a halloween party that I will have some co-workers at. Great!!"

"This costume is super cute. I just got it a couple of days ago and tried it on right away. I got a large and the fit is almost perfect. I have an hour glass figure, so the bust is a little small and the waist is a little big (but close enough). The material is good, even though it's a little on the thing side. The length is just short enough to show some leg, but not too much. I added a petticoat under it to had some volume as well. Overall, I'm really happy with this purchase :)"

"This is a cute costume for anyone who doesn't want to flash a ton of skin the length is great fits true to size I had read to go up a size and when I checked the size chart thats what I did normally in dresses I would buy a med so I bought a large and it's great. It is a costume so don't expect it to be the highest quality of fabric."

"This costume is very poor quality. The skirt on the costume is made of very cheap fabric. The only thing that was nice about this costume was the cape. The cape is very nice and the costume comes in a very nice garment bag but that was about it. I wish the costume itself was as nice as the cape. :("

"I'm very happy with this purchase. The costume arrived very fast and it even came in its own garmet bag. The materials are good quality and its very true to size. The lace on mine didn't come pre-laced so you'll have to take a few seconds to do that. I do reccommend a petticoat with it. The fuller skit just makes me look a little cuter. Great costume, I can't wait for halloween to wear it."

"I had not dressed up for Halloween in many many years but my husband talked me into going as Red Riding Hood (he was the Big Bad Wolf). What a cute costume!! It was perfect, just short enough to be provacative but not too short for me to feel uncomfortable. The quality of this costume is very good and well worth the extra $. It fits pretty true to size. Little red ridding hood

"First, I want to tell that buycostumes.com has so much great costumes that I had difficulties to chose... Cleopatra, Little mermaid, Cinderella, Red riding hood, Stawberry shortcake...
I'm a teacher, so mine had to be classy not sexy!!! The fabric is high quality, the fit is perfect (I was not sure between small an medium according to the chart: I am 5' 7'' and 128 pounds) and the delivering in Quebec, Canada was fast (I ordered it oct. 24th and received it oct. 29th). Next year, I will order the basket and the costume for my daughter who will be 6!!!!! See me in Red riding hood!!!
I'm proud to live in Canada but it cost me a total of 101$ u.s... because of the fees...
Excuse my english!"

"This costume is great! I had a tough time picking out a costume this year, and this site was great! As previous reviewers said, it did fit a little big. But I did err on the big side, versus the small side. It does come in its own garment bag, and was of great quality. The cape and vest are made from velvet and the skirt/shirt sleeves from cotton. The skirt hits just above my knee, which is good because I'm wearing this to work (I'm a teacher), but it can be sexy if you want. The cape length is great, not too long, not too short. I love this costume!"
