"5.5ft, 290lbs, ordered the 3x and it all fit! good quality costume, easily rewearable. i ended up using my own black leggings, pinned the boot toppers onto them to keep them up... i also pulled down the yellow blouse further than shown in the advert picture (to cover my tummy) so added a bit of black lace to cover my bra. i ordered the captains hat to go with the outfit - that wasn't quite as good quality for the price, but it still looked great and came with a burgundy tie, not the white/black one shown - which actually went better with this outfit. the whole pirate outfit was very comfortable, i felt confident in it and i received several compliments. i ordered the express UPS service to get the shipment quickly to canada and it got here the next day! at the halloween party i went to, there were several different outfits from this site and they all looked good - including the grecian goddess - also lovely on a larger lady! prompt service, quality outfit - i'll definitely shop here again"

"I got this because it looks great. It even looks great on! But the boot legs didn't want to stay up, so I had to pin them. Which meant my pants slid down every time I sat. And the vest would ride up, so every time I sat or stood, I was totally rearanging the outfit. It looked great, though, so I will tweak it with pants and my own boots, keep the top and hat, though. But I added some tatts to my shoulder and chest, and did my makeup, and loved it all night long!"

"I am a big girl and most "plus size" costumes are simply too tight. I bought the 3X and it fit perfectly without pinching or binding. Since I have very large calves I also expected to boot tops to be too small and they look great! This is a very good quality costume and I will be comfortable and stylish this Halloween! I highly recommend this to any “big” girl that wants a great costume to join in on the fun."

"i bought this costume last year, it was cute but the shirt fit a little baggy. It was good to wear for work but much cuter when i wore a brown pirate skirt with it later. I don't think it was worth the price i paid for it though."
