Title: Good Costume for Older Child

"We purchased this costume for our 3-year-old son, who loves it. My primary concern is the quality/price for quality. The material is thin, which could easily rip if worn for anything more than trick-or-treating. In other words, this is not a costume I'd recommend for dress-up. The mask is one of the cheap plastic masks we used to get on our costumes in the 1970s, and ours arrived a bit smashed. The foot covers are pretty much worthless - they don't stay on our son's feet at all. And the velcro fasteners would be very easy to pull off of the costume. A final word - our son is 3 and quite thin. The costume barely closes over his back, so I think if you have a huskier child, the costume might not fit. The working light on the front of the costume is great - doesn't heat up or cause concerns for burns, and it lights well."

"This costume was great for my 5 year old boy. He loves super heroes and Iron Man is right up there. The light in the chest was the highlight. You press it once and you get nice bright steady light, press it twice and the light blinks on and off and if you press it a third time the light turns off. The light was bright enough for my son to see things with and he enjoyed turning it on and off. It is also a great safety feature. People were able to see my child a little ways away and that helps when you are trick or treating in the dark. Another thing that my son thought was great was that other kids stopped and looked at him as he was walking around. They were very impressed with his costume. I would definitely purchase this costume again. It is worth every penny!!"

"I liked the Costume and the light up feature. The only thing I would improve on is the mask and the velcro fasteners. I wish the mask was a little thicker material. Every time my son puts it on I am afraid its going to break; the plastic is thin. I also think the velcro fasteners on the back of the costume could be a stronger velcro. When my son has this on it fits him good but when he moves around and acts like he is fighting like Iron man the velcro comes apart."

"I have two boys, and of course the liitle brother wants to be whatever his older brother wants to be. They both love Iron Man so this costume was perfect!!! The costume is made of good quality however, the mask is plastic, so we'll see how long that lasts. I would have preferred one made out of a cloth material. It also comes with shoe covers witch are great so you don't have to worry about what shoes their going to wear. I would suggest buying the gloves to go along with it.

"We bought this for our son who's almost 4.5 years old. We decided to spend the extra $20 for the version that lights up - and not sure if it's worth it.
Overall the costume is okay. Nothing great, but not too bad. I was expecting the light in the chest to be something better than it is. Essentially it's a tiny light that fits into a pocket behind the "light" on the chest. Maybe it'll look better at night, but it just looks like a small bit of light in the big white circle.
The costume is somewhat thin, and the back is closed only by two very small velcro circles (I might replace those), but hopefully it'll stand up to some heavy play.
I was expecting more for the money compared to other costumes we've bought at this same price point, but regardless, our son loves it and that's what's important."

"This is a pretty cool costume. It's the best on the market with the exception of a $5000 one I saw in a place out here in NYC called Forbidden Planet. And that was all metal and adjustable to anyone's size. So since my kid is only 3 I said hey what the heck lemme get this one. The light up Chest Piece is what sold me. It's just a simple pouch behind the Chest Peice that holds a led light. The light is extremely bright and it either stays on or can blink. There are 2 modes. The plush Muscles are great also. If your kids like Iron Man go with this costume. Plus the price is great. Many other websites are offering this costume for way more money. Get this while u can. They're going fast."
