"with some TLC this can be a sexy great costume! The fit was good, but I had to take all the rubber pieces off the bottom and sew/pin it all back on so it was flat. I tried hot gluing the rubber to the top and it would not stick and left an ugly mess. end up pinning that too! bought my own chain and added bangles. The picture and girl sell the outfit. So unless you have time to redo your costume, it might not be worth it for the price. Won sexy prize at the bar, so I guess it is a winner anyhow!!"

"i really liked this costume. However the top didn't fit. so i had to fix it. the bottoms fit fine. so unless you have VERY larg boobs, plan on having to adjust the top. Plus, what you see on the picture, is not what comes in the package. Just FYI."

"The item I recieved looked nothing like the image on the cover. The fabric color and texture were different. The colors were duller and the cut was slightly different. The belt arrived broken and the pants were too short. I'm 5'2" and it reached just above the ankle. But, for a one time use, it was OK."

"I really liked it! I am glad that the bottom wasn't purple like it was in the picture. The maroon is perfect because it fits the actual costume from the movie. Didn't do anything to fix it. Am weaing it with a strapless bra though just in case. The arm band didn't fit so not going to wear it. Wearing heels because I'm 5ft1. I AM IN LOVE WITH THIS COSTUME. I RECOMMEND IT."

"While I was leery about purchasing the costume after reading reviews, I ended up LOVING the Slave Leia costume! There was some sewing needed on the bra portion of the outfit, but the rest of it was fantastic. It's not the most expensive-looking costume, but people who I encountered on Halloween had only great things to say. It's an attention-getter to be sure and you'll have a great time with it!"

"This costume is not worth the price. The decoration on the bra top is made of rubber and when I received the costume it was a mes.. I had to make lots of alterations and spent about four hours fixing the bra top alone. Also, I am about 5'3" and a size 2 and the skirt was way too big. The shorts it came with looked like granny panties..I had to take the skirt to get it altered. Also, the decoration attached to the skirt is not attached very well. Bad choice..if you can avoid wearing this costume..choose another!! So not worth it!"

"squashed into the bag, the plastic STANK so bad and was all warped. Nothing fit right. Doesn't look AT ALL like the picture. The bra was a disaster. Worst costume I've ever dealt with. Couldn't even doctor it because the plastic was warped beyond repair. Don't waste your money."

"I have been planning for my halloween costume for the last few months and decided (with the help of my boyfriend) on the Princess Leia Slave costume. I received the costume and couldn't believe how different it looks than it did in the pictures. I read the reviews before placing my order and I did see that other women have mentioned the same problem. I returned the costume unworn and have since purchased another.
The costume is sexy and bottoms fit well. The top is made very poorly with felt. The gold is plastic ( which is mentioned) but needs time and adhesive to properly adjust to correct spots. The accessories are also plastic which makes them hard to stay in place. Maybe some dress tape?
Anyway, I didn't want to put in all the work to make the costume look as it does on the model."

"The idea of the costume overall is great but I did have to fix some stuff and add some stuff. The detail on the top is not attached to the material so that needed to be fixed and I also had to remove the belt and reattach it so it laid flat. i also had to buy a chain to attach to the collar piece, just picked up a long necklace at a craft store. It is a really cute costume but if you don't have the time to redo stuff then don't buy it"

"I'm a very small girl and the x-small for me was perfect! The only thing about this product is I had trouble with the rubber/plastic material on the bra-top coming off and I kept having to hot glue it through out the night, which doesn't work very well, so sewing it in key areas would probably be the best solution for that. I didn't use the arm band (my arms are too small and it wouldn't fit), hair clips, or hair piece, but the choker really completes it! The coloring in the picture most definitely is not exact. It was a perfect length for me (I'm 5'3). I've almost considered buying this again so I can get a better top that I haven't screwed up with hot glue."

"I was not very happy about how much diffenert the top of this costume was from the picture that is on the front of the package of the costume. I know that the picture is not always excatly the same as the costume it's self but is close. The top in my opinon and opions of some of family members said it wasn't even close to the picture. The only thing that matched was the pattern of the top. Not only that but I ordered an extra small and the top was close to a large small or even a meduim. An other thing I was not that happy about was when I tried the top on I noticed that some of the stiching was coming undone and the pattern on the top was coming off. A plus was that the bottoms fit nice and were close to the picture of the cosutme. I desided to keep the costume cause the bottoms fit and the rest of the costume was nice but befor I wear this costume I will be making a new top for it."

"After receiving the costume, I discovered it looked nothing like the picture. The fabric on the skirt was burgandy and had no pattern, as shown on the package. The straps on the package were gold cord, but the one I received was just an extension of the fabric on the top. The top appears green in the web picture, but it is an ugly grey in the package. I returned it unused."

"This costume really needed alot of work when I got it. I got it today and was excited to put it on, I had to cut a few things and sew another but overall it was a good costume.I enjoy wearing it to take pictures.And to go out with. It does need work but when you are done it becomes something great.I really enjoy this product. Sure, it doesnt look like the picture above, but I think that It looks 10 times better than the picture itself.I had to cut a few fabric from the bra and sew the skirt cause it was terribly made.But When I got finished I was amazed at how good the costume looks. Everybodys going to love me at Jacon."

"No costume at this price point is going to truly be genuine but this costume was good enough to evoke the iconic image of the Leia slave bikini. The XS bottoms were true to size but the top was still designed for "larger" assets, necessitating some filler material assistance. The velcro fastener on the back of the bikini top was weak and needed safety pins to ensure a safe fit. The bottoms needed some minor adjustment to display some additional hip/leg. All of the decorative applications were limited to the front (no gold shield on the back of the bottoms). While not perfect by any stretch of the imagination, the costume was a lot of fun and got loads of compliments."

"I was very disappointed after receiving this costume. After viewing the picture and reading the written description of this costume, I was expecting something of a higher quality I suppose, especially for the listed price of $50-some dollars. Instead, the costume was casted and painted rubber, and the brazire part was a cheap felt material. The costume itself arrived in a package that was clearly already used and returned and the top and bottom sizes did not match. (One was a medium, the other was a small.) Also, a part of the rubber on the bottom half was broken. I liked the idea of this costume, and just wish it was better quality overall."

"After reading all the reviews of this costume I was a little skeptical, but I bought it anyways. Yes, it did need some work, but I did it in about an hour. I had to sew a few spots to keep pieces from sticking out to far when I had it one, but that was it. I am 5'7" and I bought a small so the skirt was a little short with heels on. Everything else fit great though! It was also easy to add too. I got a light chain and connected it to the choker and it made it even better. The costume was definitely worth what I spent on it."
