"I bought this for my son who has now outgrown the child-size costumes and has moved into teen sizes. I bought the adult x-small becasue it states adult x-small and teen are the same on the size chart. It is HUGE. My husband is 5'10" about 180 and it fits him. Not true to size at all. The quality is good and the shipping was very fast."

"I bought this costume for my 14 year old son who is a Halo fanatic. It is a brilliant costume, sizing is true to the charts. I had to sew a little more velcro to the rear opening just for aesthetics but this is incidental. The costume is very good quality. His friends are envious!! Be sure to buy the gloves to complete the outfit."

"We are having a Halloween Birthday costume party for our son this year and he wanted to have the Halo costume. I wanted one that was good quality and this seemed to be the best one I could find under $100.00. I am pleased with the armor as it gives a great 3d affect and the helmet is pretty cool. The only drawbacks are the sizing is a bit off. Our son is a very big kid and though this costume fits him around, it is made for a much taller person. I am going to have to do some major adjustments to get it to fit right. Also, I am going to have to semi-remove some of the armor and restitch them on to get them to lay correctly. The helmets only problem is the velcro is not great making it hard to get all the velco hooked at the same time. I think we will add more velcro for a stronger hold. Lastly, the price is a bit spendy for the overall quality of the costume."

"This was the coolest costume. I am really big in playing Halo 3, so this costume was perfect. It was weird to everyone else, because nobody knew who or what I was. They all thought i was from Star Wars or something. So it was fun having to explain it to everyone."

"This Halo costume is great looking and I would recommend to those who wish to be Halo. The helmet is pretty cool too. I was not thrilled with the $75 cost of item, except it seemed that it was made from a better material than other costumes we have looked at. My son would have worn this in a heart beat had it fit him.
Unfortunately, XS adult was way to large for my son who is a tall 11 year old. I too tried it on and it was way to tall for me at 5ft 5 in.
I wish the measuremet table was a little more accurate.
My husband would have fit perfectly in the XS adult. he is 5'10.
Hopely next year my son will be tall enough to wear this costume next year."

"I was very satisfied with this costume. I'm a 19 year old average sized male, and I ordered the standard size, but it was very big on me. A small or even an extra small would have fit just fine. The helmet is a bit flimsy, but it gets the job done. Remember to buy the gloves as well. This package does not include them."

"The HALO 3 costume is very disappointing for the money you spend on it. The mask is a made out of a breakable plastic and the jumper is not good quailty. For 70.00 i expected something better than a 99 cents look alike. Not happy at all."

"I ordered the extra small costume for my 12 year old son. He is approx 5ft 4in, inseam 30.5. I had debated on ordering the x-small or the standard. I am glad I ordered x-small, it fits very well. In addition to the costume we also ordered the gloves. I am very pleased overall with the material of the costume and gloves. Also the helmet is a two piece which velcros together to make a full helmet. The helmet is a big hit. Very pleased with our purchase and the quick delivery."

"My pre-teen was very excited about being Halo 3 MC for Halloween. Every day he would come home hoping "it was his lucky day" and the costume would be delivered. When my son opened the package, he was so disappointed he started to cry. Need i say anymore? Save your money and time and do not buy this poor quality product."

"I ordered the Master Chief costume and we received it very quickly, I was pleased as always with Buycostumes.com. However, the costume itself was another story. It was very cheaply made, the armor was not even sewn all the way on so it gapped all over. The length of the costume was outrageous! I guess it is intended for people who are over 5'10! I bought it for my son, who is over 5 ft tall and it fit him everywhere but the length so of course the armor was not in the right places. We didn't even open the helmet, we just packed it up and sent it back. This one was a dud..."
