"I got these red Oz shoes to wear on a very limited basis. I knew they were too high a heel to really walk in, but I expected I could at least walk a few steps. They are very pretty. However, it feels like they are made of stiff cardboard. There is no give at all, and the strap on the top isn't at all adjustable. I could barely get it over my instep and was sure it would break. It didn't but then I walked worse than frankenstein. They are only good to carry, and put on while sitting, and too hard to get on and off for that to work well. They are too big, as half sizes were not available, but I don't think that would have mattered."

"I am so glad I found these early and didn't wait to get them because these cute things sold out lol But anyway I am a size 9 and got a 9 so they were perfect and comfortable and I have slightly wide feet :) They are beautiful and well packaged- the price is fantastic and they shipped quickly! they looked great with my Little Red Riding Hood costume."

"The shoes are way cute and look like they do in the picture. The only problem I had was the fit. The width was fine but the length of the shoe is not accurate. Every pair of heels I have (tons) are all a size 8. I could barely fit my foot in the shoe. I received my order on the 14th but the stock was never re-filled for me to order a larger size. They look hot but my feet are so sore."

"The shoes are pretty in the package, but once I put them on they made my feet look wide and they gapped around the outside. Maybe the size was just too big, but I ended changing characters so I just sent them back.
Sad, I always wanted a pair of ruby red slippers!!"

"I was so glad I read reviews before I ordered. I'm a size 6, and so I ordered a 7, and it was perfect! Even maybe some room for a thin insole to keep me comfy! I thought it might be a little hard to walk on because how thin the heel is, but nope! It is very sturdy, it's bigger than the pictures shows you. It looks more sophisticated than the platforms. Don't get me wrong I love platforms, but this is a very super cute alternative! It came packed VERY well, in a box, and with the shoes stuffed properly, not just thrown into a box. I couldn't find anything like this in stores. The ones I found were too clunky looking! Also, the delivery was RIGHT on time. They told me an expected date, and it came ON the expected date. I was very impressed! None of this 2-3 weeks...maybe a bit more nonsense!"

"I was very apprehensive about ordering shoes w/o a half size. I took the advice of a previous review and ordered the next size up and it worked. They are a little loose, but the reason you should follow that advice, is bc the fabric is so tight with glitter it doesn't stretch. So, I would strongly advise that if you are a half size to order the next size up. You can always get some cushion insoles for them and make up some of the excess room, plus it'll be extra comfy. Speaking of.....the shoes are a bit hard, but again....it's glitter on platforms. I wasn't expecting super comfy. I got it b/c it goes PERFECT with the outfit. : ) oh. the bows are removable and it's more of a stretchy elastic tie. So, l'm gonna use these as a slip on, instead of unstrapping to get on."

"I bought these for my upcoming Dorothy costume and I love them. I have been wearing them around the house to break them in and they are surprisingly quite comfortable. They fit perfect, they seem to be slightly padded and they complete my Dorothy costume. I would highly recommend these shoes over any other ruby slippers out there."

"These are adorable--they're not super-sturdy, so you have to be a little careful putting them on/taking them off so you don't bend the edges or snap the top strap off the button. They feel a little stiff (probably from the glue used to make the glitter stick), but they're costume shoes, so it's to be expected. I haven't worn them for the full night yet; only to try them on, so I'm not 100% how they'll hold up."

"I'm very happy I ordered these with my Dorothy costume. I don't think I could have found anything that beats the quality, price or look of these. I normally wear a size 7 1/2 and went with the 8 to be safe based on the other reviews - and they fit nicely! The shoes really don't have any padding in the sole, so I would recommend some gel inserts otherwise they could get pretty uncomfortable fast! :)"

"These go great with my "Miss Dorothy" costume. I did follow other's tips about going up a size and I'm glad I did. I'm a size seven, but ordered an eight and they fit great. The strap across the ankle is a little loose, but the shoes stay on my feet and do not flip off my heels in the back. Also, the glitter stayed on the shoes!"

"These shoes totally complete my Dorothy costume. If they are in good enough shape I'll try to incorporate them into my costume next year too. Im an 8-8.5 and the siz8 was fine for me. Believe it or not they are actually pretty comfortable and this is from someone who hates wearing heals. I dont know how they will be after a long nt of dancing. Definatly reccommend!!"
