"Good purchase for the price. Comes a liile big. Also will want to sspend a few extra dollars for a good cushioned insert if you are going to be doing a lot of walking. Sole held up well for walking all day and most of the noght through Disney."

"These boots really make any Pirate of Musketeer costume. They were true to size. I purchase a pair of inserts as there was nothing inside to support your foot. After about 8 hours my feet started to feel tired."

"Don't be silly boot covers look like terrible! These are the only way to go for any pirate costume! The boots were comfortable and everyone said they looked great. Sturdy enough you could wear them a few Halloweens if you desired."

"These were a last minute replacement for some boots that I ordered from another company. These boots were identical to the reenactor boots I had ordered but at $20 less. These held up very well for our show. They were worn on stage in sword combat for 30 performance and didn't wear out. They can still be used for other shows, and I think they could hold up for another 30 shows. Good investment for us.
The only think I want to let people know about is that depending on the size of your calf you could have difficulties. I had 1 guy that had to install a black elastic band under the cuff to help hold them in place. His feet were big but his calfs were small. On the other had I had one guy who liked the fact that they zipped in the back because his large calfs fit in them by leaving them half unzipped and using the cuff & back laces to adjust it. He just wore back socks to hide the gap.
All around good product."

"I bought this pair of boots at my husband's request. When we received our shipment the size was wrong, so I emailed customer service, and they remedied the problem right away! They sent out our replacement product ASAP! Very pleased. Boots fit well, sizing is pretty accurate. Totally fitting with the Pirate costume! For this price, they were WAY BETTER than the cheap shoe cover option. Pay the $20 more and get the real thing!"

"I bought these based on the reviews and was really blown away with the quality of these boots. They can be worn a varity of ways thanks to the flexable cuff.

Two things. Zipper goes almost all the way down to the heel, so be careful zipping these up. Also, buy some of those cheap rubber grip pads for the bottom of the boot as they do slip on smooth floors.

Whether musketeer or buckaneer, these boots are great!"

"This pair of boots makes a very impressive addition to my husbands Ren fair Musketeer outfit. They have a very nice look, and are surprisingly comfortable, not very "costume" like at all. I think my husband will end up wishing he could wear them all the time! They also look just as good with the tops straightened out. Those with sensitive feet or who will be standing a lot may want to buy inserts, because they do have a bit more heel than most men will be accustomed to. I think they could be used just as well for women's boots for a pirate outfit. They run just a very little bit narrow, so if you have wide feet, expect to buy a slightly larger size. Overall, VERY saatisfied with these boots!"

"Used these boots for several pirates including Captain Jack Sparrow and Davey Jones. They were also used for Darth Vadar just by rolling up the cuff. Looked great that way. Also using for Santa and Father Christmas. I have a rental costume shop called "The Tickle Trunk" and now own 6 pair. Thanks for a great product. My husband danced the night away and said the boots were very comfortable."

"Sizing was the issue here; had to order size 12-13 due to size 11.5 shoe size of husband and they were huge. Then medium size sold out before we could reorder. Then company changed sizing to small, med 10-11, lg 12, x-lg 13 and we were not sure what size to order as 12 and 13 may be same boot..... so we simply returned them and bought something else. But they were JUST what we had wanted and are great quality and have a fabulous look to them. You could wear these over and over and a great price for that ability."

"I was skeptical about buying these as the sizes were only S,M, L, however, they were perfect. For costume boots they are very well made and comfortable. I was worried about having my feet hurt at the Halloween Ball so I wore them all day when they came in the mail and I did not have one problem. EXCELLENT product, highly recommended, and versatile enough that they could be worn with numerous costumes."

"Well now, I have been searching for decent boot covers, toppers, i.e. something to finish off all the hard work I have put into my costume. Finally a decent full boot that looks good. Quality is good, just don't expect heavy duty boot. They have zippers in the back for easy on. Size does run about a half size smaller than my normal boot but once they are on with regular socks, perfect fit. Would not advise hiking in these but for a halloween party or Ren. Fest. outing they should be perfect. Very pleased and for the price, very good value. Should last me a couple years easy."

"I'm usually about a 9.5, and I went with the 10-11... I'd recommend rounding down, as these were a little big. However, they were perfectly comfortable for a long night of standing and looked much better than the boot toppers I found with typical outfits. I recommend picking them up if you're going to recycle your outfits over the years - these should last!"
