"I'm an Australian size 10 in shoes and I've found that a US 10 has always been pretty close to that from this site. I read the reviews and saw that most people recommended going a size up, which I obviously can't since a 10 is as high as they go. So naturally I was worried that they wouldn't fit. When I tried them on I found that they were probably a little smaller than usual, but since they're open shoes it doesn't really seem to matter too much. It's only really a problem with closed-in shoes where my toes get squashed. Having said that though, I found the calf straps more uncomfortable than the shoes themselves. I have biggish calves and although I could get the straps done up, they cut into my skin and weren't that comfortable, so if you have large calves I wouldn't recommend these shoes. The height of the heel didn't bother me because I'm used to wearing very high heels, but I wouldn't wear them to a party I was going to dance at all night. It'll be fine if you plan on sitting down for most of the night. Overall, these are very nice shoes so it's a shame they're too tight on my calves."

"shoes are great! I don't know about the quality being worth 50$ but the look is. There good quality for halloween shoes!! they are perfect for my costume. i hate spending 50$ on shoes i'll wear once but there so cute. i have skinny legs and they fit perfect but theres plenty of room to adjust."

"These shoes are absolutely amazing. They look hot on your feet and make your legs look smoking! They really bring out the goddess in you! I'd recommend them to anyone. Before you buy though, make sure you can walk in high heels. These are definitely not for someone who doesn't wear heels. The heels on these are very high, higher then I've ever worn. I had a little trouble walking in the beginning but I got the hang of it pretty easy."

"These shoes are so cute, until you try to walk in them. I have a ton of heels and wear them all the time so I am used to taller heeled shoes. These shoes are just poorly made and do not fit the foot well. I ordered a size 10, I normally wear a 9 but based on the previous comments I ordered on size bigger. The straps were too wide across my feet to keep my feet from sliding out the front of the shoes. I wore them for 5 minutes with my costume, then just decided to go barefoot, I never even left the house with them. My feet were killing me. I could barely walk! They were also poorly made, the straps pulled apart when I put them on, the material on the straps actually split. I do not recommend these shoes at all. They are so cute and looked great with the costume, I was really disapointed I could not wear them."

"Ordered these to go with a Grecian gown for my girlfriend. As always, shipping was sensationally speedy. Ordered on Thursday, and the package arrived on Monday evening - from America, to Australia. The speed with which BuyCostumes ships is genuinely unparalleled - the freight may be a little dear, but it's definitely worth it. Having read other reviews, which consistently stated that the shoes run small, ordered a ten for my usually size nine and narrow girl. A good choice; the shoes fit quite well, though strangely, still slightly narrow on the foot. She assures me that they're comfy enough for an evening of mostly sitting down, but probably not a good idea if you plan to be dancing, walking or standing around a lot. They are cute as anything, and she loves them to bits, although anyone looking to purchase them should be aware that they take an eon to get on and off. If I have one criticism, the straps needed more holes - she has fairly sturdy, healthy legs, but a few of the straps still had to be fairly loose due to not having many buckle holes on them. That said, this is easily fixed by putting a few more in, with a hot knitting needle. Overall, fantastic with Grecian or Roman costume, gorgeous and affordable. Highly recommended; she loves them!"

"These shoes are really cute, just as pictured. I got a ton of compliments from my girl friends. Make sure you buy one size bigger than your normal size. If you are not used to sacrificing some comfort to wear something sexy, these shoes may not be for you. Coming from a girl that lives in high heeled shoes, these are really, really high and take some coordination to get around in. Definitely worth being uncomfortable for one night."
