"I bought the 18-24 month size costume for my 21 month old son. According to the pediatrician, he is off the charts (over 150%) for height and he weighs 32 lbs. The costume was absolutely adorable, but the arms, trunk and character hood were too short for him (see pic). I think the hood should attach beneath his chin, rather than across it (see pic). Nonetheless, I loved it enough that I have now ordered the 3T-4T size. I wish there had been a size 2T-3T, as I fear the 3T-4T may be too big when it arrives. I love the feet, and although they will get dirty after he walks around, I much prefer the footed jumpsuit to a costume with shoes. The footed portions seems thick enough to protect his feet, and it is much cuter than him having on shoes. I do WISH I could have found this costume with the attached character hood, as shown in photos 1 & 3 on the buycostume website. These two photos obviously differ from the itemized description. Overall, I love the costume and will be passing it off as Timon the meerkat from The Lion King...which I needed to go along with my 3 year old's Simba costume."

"Fantastic Material! Nice and warm for our cold October weather. Very cute on! The hat is separate from the costume so even though he will only keep on for the length of a photo, it is not hanging around his neck. Definitely worth the price for this time in his life!"

"I purchased the Meerkat costume for my 19 month old son and when I received it in the mail I was impressed at its quality. My son loves how soft it is and it will definitely keep him warm on a cold October night in Kansas. I only saw two flaws. The sizing is on the large size. My son will be 20 months old for Halloween so I ordered the 18-24 month old suit. It is pretty big and would fit a 2 year old perfectly. My son isn't on the short side either and it's a little too late to reoder a smaller size. The second flaw is that it is fully stitched on the bottom so my son will be walking through dirt, mud, and grime all night ruining the bottom of the costume. (The costume says spot clean only so there is no hope in throwing it in the washer after Halloween) It would've been nicer if the bottom paws were open for shoes and just tied around the shoes themselves because I was hoping to reuse this adorable costume for boy #2. Otherwise, I can't see any other drawbacks. This is such an adorable, original costume and I am glad I made the purchase."

"We bought this for our little girl to use for dress-up and she loves it. I was surprised by how good the quality is. The inside is fully lined and the material seems like a higher quality. Our daughter likes to just nuzzle her face inthe material because it is so soft."

In developing this brand, we partnered closely with Animal Planet to capture the true essence of the animal. This is not just a cute face-it's features are incredible!!! We offer you the softest velour on the planet for the outside (so when holding your loved one, it's tender to the touch), and a fully lined soft satin lining on the inside-inclusive of the feet!! The inseam has hidden snaps and an easy in and out velcro back. The feet all have non-skid soles, and have elastic at the ankles so your little one will never fall out or trip over their own feet. The hood is also fully lined and quilted in a diagonal box pattern. The sleeves come with an elastic cuff-snug, but not binding. The tail is long and two toned.
