"I ordered a small after reading that it runs large, and it fits perfectly. I would usually be safe in a medium.
It is a beautiful costume. It's slightly expensive because it's well made for a costume. It's almost shocking how nice the sequined bodice is. The beading around the neckline is quality as well. The lace "shawl" is better clipped to the head as a veil instead. It's pretty narrow to pass as a shawl."

"As soon as I saw this costume online, I knew I wanted to purchase this item. I was not disappointed!! I was pleasantly surprised when I opened up the costume. The top on this costume is beautiful! I knew it had sequins covering the top and beading, but I never dreamed it would be this nice. This will definitely be a standout on Halloween!! The costume seems to be quality material as well.
There are a couple of negatives, but nothing bad enough that I would send it back. This costume ran on the big side. I was afraid the costume would be small when I ordered it. I ordered the 14/16, and I usually wear in-between those sizes in regular clothing. I thought either the costume would fit just right or be on the small size. After reading the note from Buycostumes that the sizing was running small I was really scared! I'm glad I didn't order the larger size; it would have been WAY too big! I don't know if maybe I received a costume that was missed sized, but in no way does it run small in the chest area. I am very busty (38 DDD) and this costume was actually big in the chest area!!
Also, the costume in the picture appears to be on the short side. Mine was very long. The ruffles in the front hang down to my knees, thus making the back long (I am 5'6'). Good thing I like high heels! I will have to do some altering to this costume, but nothing I can't do myself. I would order the smaller size, but on my garment bag, the next size was to fit 8-12 (that’s a huge difference)!
The only other negative was the shawl. It was very short, nothing like the one in the picture. I can easily make one myself though.
I can't wait to wear this costume. It’s sexy without revealing too much!"
