"The shipping was great, costume - not so much. This dress arrived not violet, not lavender but fuschia. That pinky, purple colour and not violet or a dark purple as shown. I am pretty tall 5'10 and hour glass but the dress was not only big on me (when I am a size 9) but it didn't fit right. The draped part of the sleeves are only patterned on one side so you see the bad/backed side if you move your arms around - I would recommend adding a panel to fix it as its colourful/silver backing.
If you dont mind ocolour variance and wearing it strictly halloween costume houseparty then it'd do."

"I AM ABSOLUTELY DISAPPOINTED. I HAD JUST RECEIVED THE COSTUME LITERALLY 10 MINUTES AGO AND AM SOOO DISAPPOINTED THAT I HAD TO LOG IN AND WRITE THIS REVIEW ASAP.

- COLOR IS NOT AS SHOWN.
- STITCHING UNDER ARMS ISNT EVEN ON THE INSIDE
- NECK LINE ISNT AS SHOWN
- FRINGES EVERYWHERE
- BACKSIDE OF ARMS IS JUST THE WRONG SIDE OF THE FABRIC

OVERALL I LOOK LIKE A FAT EGGPLANT. 4 DAYS TILL HALLOWEEN, ID RATHER JUST BUY A BED SHEET AND CUT HOLES IN IT FOR MY EYES AND MOUTH."

"When I got it I was surprised at how fast it came... but when I opened it I realized probably why it came as fast as it did... The edges were a bit frayed that didn't really bother me what did was the pattern of the outfit was only on one side of the sleeves and not the back... so if I had crossed my arm in front of me it would show the back of the pattern... and when I looked at the skirts black lining I saw a rip... not a tiny one like an inch but at least two to three inches... I will say they do need instructions for the obi... but I'm not trying to put off anyone from buying this... its just be careful with it cause it might end up like mine with the bad luck..."

Title: Beautiful! So Impressed!

"I'm very pleased with my Lovely Lolita costume and can't wait to wear it. It was love at first sight when I saw it. I'm actually an adult size 8 and was a little worried about purchasing a teen size costume. I ordered the X-Large (7-9) and it fits perfectly. I was also apprehensive about how short it would be, especially because I'm 5'10, but it's perfect and isn't too short at all. The fabric is also impressive and sparkles beautifully. Also the sewn in petticoat is adorable and very pretty.
There are only a couple things I'm not happy with but are minor fixes. There are A LOT of little threads hanging from the seams. I'll have to go through the whole costume and cut them off but no big deal, just time consuming and annoying. The fabric is also somewhat itchy and a little hot but to be expected. Also, my roommate and I can't figure out how to tie the obi, I wish the costume had come with a diagram or even a picture from the back. Hopefully we'll figure it out by Halloween, if not I'll just tie the black sash around my waist and forget about it."
