"This costume was A LOT of fun!!! Looks pretty much exactly as the picture depicts it to be... however for me the sizing was a little off since they only offer size sm. However, I a quick safety pin on the side and moving the belt up to cover the pin, and I was in business.
I had the same problem with the "off the shoulder" look as the other ladies did... until I stitch ripped the seam and then cut the elastic that went across the shoulders... from there the "odd the shoulder" look was not a problem at all!
Overall, this costume is sooooo worth it... a couple quick adjustments and you are good to go... I always order leg avenue costumes and they are a trusted brand in my eyes. I also ordered the legging and it worked really well!!!"

"I absolutly LOVED this costume. I tried so many costumes on at local Halloween stores. NOTHING fit! They were too short, or too tight. I saw this costume on this website (it was not sold in stores locally), and I loved it. I'm obsessed with the 80's. I finally decided to order it 2 weeks before Halloween. It came very quickly, and I tried it on and was very satisfied. It fit great! Not too short, not too tight. I bought it in a M/L. I'm 5'9" 165lbs. My only problem I had was the elastic around the top was tighter than shown in the picture, so the dress didn't hang down to show the tube top. So I took out all the elastic so the tube top would show. I recommend doing that when you purchase it. Worked perfect! I paired the costume with silver sparkle footless tights, pink legwarmers, silver sparkle wedge heels, pink jelly bracelets, a guitar necklace and big star earrings. No one at the party I went to had the costume, and everyone LOVED it! I would recommend this to anyone! Just make sure you lay the belt out for a few days to get the creases out of it from shipping! :) :) :)"

"For the price and all this is a fun costume. The only complaint is the off the shoulder looking doesn't look anything like the photo and you don't really need the tube top unless you pin the shirt lower. Quality, color etc... excellent!!"

"I bought this costume last year for an 80s Halloween Party, I went as Jem for the 80s cartoon "Jem and the Halograms". The costume came rather fast, and was accurate to the picture. I too had some difficulty with the cute off the shoulder look, but a saftey pin was a quick fix to that problem, and overall I was very happy with this costume. To make this costume work, I suggest you buy some accesories like the Pink Heels, Wig and some sort of Tights or Leggings."
"I purchased this outfit for last yrs halloween. It came very fast and was too cute. I only have a few complaints. One, the tupe top only has the sequins on the front and it only covers the bra section nothing else. Two, the hang-down shoulder was streching elastic so it didnt fall far enough to show off the sequin top. And last the belt was "bent" when i recieved it so it took some time to flatten that out. All in all I would still give it a great review! I had fun with it!"

"I did not like the way this costume fit at all! You will see in the picture the off the shoulder sleeve is pulled down below her elbow...that is the only way you can see the blue tube top, but as soon as you move your arm the elastic makes it jump right back up over your elbow anyways. It is made of nice thick material, but I felt shapeless and like I was wearing a big pink nightgown. I returned it right away."
"I bought this costume for an 80s themed party, I had trouble pulling the sleve down far enough to see the tube top so I wore it as a belt instead which suited the 80s theme better anyway. :) It was true to size and great quailty. Great out fit :)"
"I bought this costume to be Jem this Halloween. I was a little skeptical looking at it..it looked like thin material and wasnt sure if it would hold up for all the Halloween parties. But I ordered it anyway and when I got it was was surprised to see a thicker cotton material that actually was comfortable. The only thing I dont understand is the teal tubetop..I put the whole costume on like you're supposed to and even off the shoulder I cant see it. So I guess you can forego the tubetop if you want to. I also put it with the pink footless tights and the silver star heels. It looks good together. If you want to be Jem this halloween..this will do it!!"

"This costume is very similar to the cartoon JEM from the 80's. Fits great! Good Material. The only thing you can't see in the picture is that the tube top is very tiny and fits straight across your chest and doesn't come down lower then that. Which doesn't matter to much since the pink dress covers well but yet is very sassy and flirty when worn! I Would recommend!"
