"I was super excited to purchase this costume because I thought it was a unique idea and super cute. I got the costume in a few days (fast shipping!), and tried it on. Like the other reviews the top of the dress is not at all like the picture and is actually quite badly made. I would definitely have to safety-pin it or something. Its super loose and doesn't drape. I think the accessories were really cute; the tiara was ok though. But I liked the torch. Agreed, that the garter straps were very long for someone short (I'm 5'3). Overall, this is an average costume. It was a little short but all 'sexy' costumes are. I liked it but wasn't too crazy on the fit for me so debating on returning it."

"I am 5'5 and wear a size 16 and sometimes 18. It made my stomach appear to stick out alot more than it usually does. The tiara is kind of tight and the torch and book are cheesy. I returned it."

"I love this costume and it's fabulous accessories. I did purchase the more authentic tiara from this site. The top of the dress needs to be altered to fit like the model's. The garters are too long and will have to be altered. The flame on the torch needs to be re-glued. I ordered a Medium because I thought the Small would be too short. (5'9" 125lbs) I wish I had gone with the smaller size. I agree it's beyond ridiculous to have to alter mostly all of a $60 costume."
"I bought this and couldn't wait to receive it. It fit great, but I agree with the other reviewer, it doesn't swoop across the chest like the model in the pic. I'm gonna get a friend of mine to help me fix it. The garters attached to the dress are a bit too long for those of us with short legs (I'm 5'2"). Thankfully those come off.
I could also tell by the pic that the torch and tiara were cheap so I also ordered the liberty tiara ($5.99) and the torch flashlight ($5.99) to make it more authentic. The purse came flattened as well. I feel it should have been filled with some paper to keep the ugly creases out of it. Won't be using that either. I did feel that paying $59.99 when all I'll be using is the dress is a bit too much pricewise.
I did however love the look on my husband's face when I showed him how it looked on, lol. I guess that made my purchase worthwhile."

"It is a cute costume, but the top across my chest didn't fit right. I got a large hoping it would be a little longer but it was just too big. I am about 5'2, small/medium frame. Maybe the medium would have worked better."
