"the gloves were really cute and the top fits true to size and you can adjust it by tying the back looser or tighter as you see fit. however, the skirt was ridiculously large. i ordered a size small, (i am 5'3" 127 lbs) and you could fit 4 of me in the skirt. i had to safety pin it and it looked very awkward."

"I got this costume for my daughter because it was so cute. When we got it she tried it on. It looked great but the top was a little too small. So i got her something to put under the shirt. Then we bought a petticoat for her to wear under the skirt. A little adjustments and this costume was a great. Until the end of the night we noticed a wire from the corset popping out. I fixed it when we got home. But overall this was good costume."

"I was so excited for this costume to come, until i got it and tried it on... the skirt was way, way, way too big (i'm size 14 and got a lg) even with the petticoat underneath. i was sort of disappointed, but they price was excellent!!!"
"I have purchased costumes in the past from this site. This is by far the worst let down. The picture makes it look like it is all one piece, but it is actually 4 pieces. I'm a petite person, when I put on the skirt part, the skirt fit like an XL, even with the petticoat underneath. The top didn't fit at all. When I opened the package, I noticed that it was torn on one side of the seam. Thinking that I could sew it, I tried putting it on and it continued to tear. The way the top and bottom fit, there was a huge gap between the two. It looked tacky and nothing like the picture. The fabric is really delicate."

"I usually wear a size 14, so i was a little afraid that the large wouldn't fit. The top fits beautifully, but the skirt is a bit on the large size. I am adding a petticoat underneath, so it will work perfectly. Overall, it's a pretty fun costume for the price."

"I bought this costume obviously cause I liked it but also because of the great price. However it didn't end up being a deal at all cause before I even got to wear it it ripped along the seam. Upon further inspection of the garment it was sewed improperly along the stitch of the fabric and since the fabric is so thin this makes it very prone to tearing. Very cute costume but very delicate as well."

"I bought this costume on sale for $22.99, which is a reasonable price. Looks exactly like the picture & also comes with matching shoe clips (something that isn't mentioned in the description). I prefer to buy complete costumes so that I get exactly what I'm looking at, but as long as you remember that your only getting the top & skirt (without the puffy petticoat) you shouldn't be disappointed. The only thing I would say to the company, is that the matching "extras" shown in the photo could be a bit cheaper. I'm definately very happy with this item!"

"I was so happy when I received my costume in the mail, however when I examined it more carefully I realized a few problems. First off, the skirt was extremely large and throughout the night while I was dancing it kept falling down my waist. The worst part is that right before I was about to leave the house, I noticed a large rip all the way down the left side of the corset. I quickly sewed it, put it back on only to find that the right side had also torn. I sewed that side too and the whole night I was afraid it would tear again. It has a good price, but don't be fooled...you get what you paid for!"

"This costume was gorgeous! I loved the pattern and the style. I used it as a costume to look like Cinderella. The first time I tried it on, I bent over and it got a huge rip down the center, on a seam, so I had to make a few repairs. I reinforced the top with interfacing on the front and sides. I sewed over the rip and it was virtually invisible. I also added some lace to the top just to make sure it wouldn't be too low. Also, the skirt was quite large, so I sewed in a tighter elastic. I added my own crenaline skirt with a slip, as the skirt is quite short. I received a lot of compliments when I wore this costume, and I would definitely recommend it, although I would advise buyers to do the proper measurements before buying the costume because not all of them are fitted correctly. The top also has an elastic back which you can adjust with a ribbon that laces in the back."

"I ordered the Large size. The corset was the right size, but I had to bring in the waist on the skirt a bit. I used the costume for a child vampire idea I had and it worked GREAT!! My friends told me it was Interview with a Vampire creepy. :) It took no time for me to recieve my order in the mail, and I've always been pleased with the deals on this site. "I loved this costume instantly from the moment i got it, but the moment i tried it on was a different story. When i tried the corset on it tore twice. I didn't think i rushed to put the costume on that badly that it ended up tearing but i got over being bummed about it and sewed it up. The skirt was a bit big , i got a medium but the medium seemed like a large. I had a petticoat under it & stuffed and pinned the top of the skirt into it, so it wasn't that bad. The night of the party when i was getting ready a whole NEW tear appeared & since i didn't have enough time to sew it , i had to pin it up. Which of course i had to be doing through the entire course of the night, but my costume was a blast anyhow. Everyone wanted to take a picture with me and i ended up making the newspaper today. So all in all the costume ticked me off but im glad i wore it and the customer service and delivery was prompt and very professional. I went with a different twist to the Southern Belle and did a marie antoinette style instead & i honestly prefer it than the original."

"This costume looks very nice & I was so excited when I got it but that was soon gone when I put on the top & it ripped same place as noted on the other reviews. The sizing is all wrong because the top tends to run alittle small (waist area, I ordered a small) & the skirt is too big so you should buy a petticoat in order to make the skirt look good. Overall if the quality of the costume was better then it would have been lovely & such a deal but as I said you get what you pay for."

"When I tried to outfit on, the boning for the corset went to the left. I tried to over look it, but you could tell that it was bad. The skirt was too big, and the back of the corset bubbled so I look like a humpback.. When I went to put on the costume for party I had to go to, the dang thing ripped right next the boning. All the way up. I could not even repair it. I had loosened it at every possible way before I had put it on. I would tell all my friends to skip this one."
