Title: Not bad but only the skull is pewter Date: December 30, 2008
"I've been big into the pirate stuff for awhile, have been trying to get a little merchanting going. I saw these and the sale price and decided to grab a few to sell. The picture is correct and about actual size. The casting is very nice and not at all sloppy and I do believe it's all or mostly pewter, my complaint is that the ring on the back is kind of poor quality, it will work but I would have rather seen a little better quality band. Someone that can soldier may take the rings off these and make them into necklaces. The piece itself is nice, just the ring is less than great quality and is probably nothing but pot metal. This will be fine for changing into a necklace or possibly turning these into buttons or something such as that but the pot metal adjustable ring just kinda ruins a nice piece."

"I was very surprised to find a resizeable ring made of 100% pewter. I didn't expect it to be so sturdy, but the band thickness assures that you can wear it comfortably without fear of the skull breaking off. It's a cool fashion statement suitable even for daily wear."
