"Oh My Gosh!! I was just over the moon when I received this costume - I was worried about the sizing as I'm an Aussie size 22, but it fit perfectly with room to spare. I was worried about the quality - the gown is just beautiful, with great quality material and colour. The only problems I found were 1. that the hoop petticoat was a bit noisy, but I've removed the hoop petticoat as I already have a tulle/cotton petticoat that I will use. 2. I will need to take up the hem approx. 4" as I'm 5'4", but appreciate that the costume needs to have length to cater for everyone. I had read other reviews for this item that had stated that the tulle under the gown was very crumply due to packaging, but I know that it can be easily steamed and ironed so found that no prob's. My last concern was how long it would take for delivery as I live in Melb. Aust. - it only took 4-5 days and was packaged with great care. Once again - THIS ITEM WAS FABULOUS for me. I hope I get to use buycostumes.com again as they had a great range for larger sizes."

"It's so hard to get great costume gowns for plus size girls at a reasonable price. I could not believe I was getting this for under $50!! A great quality costume, well made, and while a little snug on me, I was impressed I could wear it at all since it says it is size 18 and I wear dress sizes anywhere from 20 to 24. I'm big busted, and this raises the waist, but I can definetly live with it! It is long and needs to be hemmed, but that is not a complaint. I have no complaints!"

"I got this costume, and couldn't wait to try it on. and when I did, it fit perfectly. I was absolutely in love with it. The price just made it even better(i didn't know that was possible). This is a great price!
"This is one of the nicest costumes I have ever purchased anywhere. The colors are beautiful, vivid and bright - even nicer than the pictures on the website. I wear a plus size, so am sometimes skeptical of purchasing online, but this runs true to size. I am sure to be the Belle of the Ball Saturday night!"

"This is the third costume I have ordered from here, and as usual, I was not let down! The Dress fit awesome, and with the wig, it really caught some attention. I wore it to work for our Halloween party, I am a bartender and the dress did not get in the way of me doing my job at all."

"This dress is great quality for the price. The crinoline is sewed into the dress, so I will not have to fidget with keeping an ill fitting one hidden (as I did last year) I am sized 18, and the 18-22 fit me great, but may be a little tight on a 22. It is a little small in the bust, which on me, causes the waistline to rise. This actually works to an advantage though, as it hides my tummy.
There seems to be only one problem with the dress. There is plastic sewn into the upper sleeves to make them poofy. An elastic band cinches the plastic and the plastic is jagged and prickly where it is sewn to the elastic. The feeling is unbearable. I've tried cutting the ends off of a pair of socks and pulling them to my upper arms. It provides a little relief, but the plastic eventually pokes through the socks too :("
