"I ordered this to go with my daughters nurse costume that I also ordered here. I knew it stated that it was to work, but I did not think it would look and sound as real as it did. My daughter had a fun time with this. Her friends thought it was really neat too."

"I'm going as Night Nurse Nora this year and I wanted this to finish off the costume. It actually works and so far haven't had any issues with any of the pieces falling off. You can hear a faint heartbeat with it along with every noise imaginable while holding it. For the price, you can't beat it!"

"I am happy with it. You can hear a heartbeat it is faint but still better then the fake one that came with my costume. Shipped to Canada within 5 days."
The Pros: -Surprisingly, the thing really does work! Heartbeat is audible through the thing, very cool! -Looks, feels like a real stethoscope as well. Not a cheesy stethoscope prop like you'll find with most costumes.
The Cons: -The white ear pieces are made out of a VERY hard and sharp plastic, OWIE! Hurts to have them in your ears! -And they come off! Like the other reviewer mentioned, this could be really hazardous!
But both cons are fixable.
I took some black electrical tape, wrapped it around the earpieces to make them less sharp, and I also wrapped it around the base of the earpiece to attach it to the stethoscope firmly, to alleviate any worries about it breaking off in my ears like previously mentioned.
Overall I reccomend this product! The earpieces are the only downfall, and they can be easily fixed! (Who doesn't have electrical tape lying around their house?) However for the price, I'm sure you could get a REAL doctor's stethoscope somewhere for cheaper online! But if you're like me and want everything in one package, this is for you!"

"We were very pleased when we got our purchase and they worked! The only thing that we were not impressed with was the white plastic pieces on the ends that go in your ears came off. That seemed to be hazardous if it came off in your ear. A little crazy glue and drying time and we were good to go! :)"
