"My husband was throwing a costume party for me for my 50th Birthday. I wanted a costume that was fun and flirty without being too risque or inapproriate and when I found the couples "Hansel and Gretel" outfits, it was exactly what I was looking for. I had tried on a couple of the other "German Beer Girl" costumes and they were WAY too short. This one was short but not uncomfortably so. It does run on the small side though. I usually wear a size 10 so I purchased the Large but it was still quite snug. It is a very flattering fit and I received compliments all night. I even had a bit of cleavage for the first time in 50 years! The service was excellent. I live in Canada --ordered on a Sunday and it was delivered on Wednesday. All of the customs/duties were factored into the total price so there were no surprises. I'd definitely recommend BuyCostumes.com and would purchase from them again in the future."

"Ok..this was the best costume ever! It fit me to a tee and I received a million compliments from both guys and girls which helped out even more! This is the first costume that I felt really comfotable in, it was not too tight and it was not to short. The quality was great. I added the tights and the shoes and it was an easy outfit to throw on. Totally would wear it again. "This costume was by far superior quality! I ordered 4 costumes in total this halloween, and for the price this one was amazing quality! The sizing is a little off - I am 5'5" & 135lbs - usually wear a size 7 - 8, I ordered a large in this just to be sure & it fits a little snug in the waist, but the corset part does adjust & I was able to fit into it fine. The skirt is a very comfortable length, & the outfit comes complete with socks & head scarf! I absolutely love it! Already everyone wants to borrow it!"

"I really like the costume but added a few extras for detail. I thought the skirt was going to be fuller but it only has a layer of tule under it. I had to buy a petticoat to make it fuller. I also went with the knee high stockings rather than ankle socks it came with. The bottom part of the skirt had a small hole in it where they forgot to stitch - not damaged. Overall, the costume fit true to size and was a hit at the party."

"I ended up getting a L rather than a M based on other reviews and I was glad that I did or my chest would not have fit. It is a well made costume with great details--a hit at the party! "After reading a few of the reviews I thought the costume would be too small. I just opened the box and tried it on and it fits perfectly! I'm going to an Oktoberfest party tonight and I can't wait to sport the festive get-up! I would recommend purchasing a stick-on bra, though, as I do feel a bit exposed in the chest area. Otherwise, I'm very satisfied with the quality and fit, and I know I will wear this again for years to come."

"I buy all of my costumes from BuyCostume.com. This was a nice costume that fit nicely. I had only one small problem. The socks were defective. They were not sewn at the toes. I had to do this myself. I am contacting BuyCostume.com about the issue. No biggie though. Every costume that I have ever purchased from them has been great!"
