"Surprizing quality, very authentic looking. I received many complements about this costume. Many thought I should have paid much more than I did. I was worried about sizing, I'm 6'4" and about 230lbs, the XL fit well. I highly recommend this costume !"

"I ordered this costume for my husband for my little brothers wedding in Vegas on Halloween, it was amazing how many people came up to him and thought it was a real lederhosen from Germany. It looks and feels like the real thing. We had to buy him an extra large because the large was out of stock, so it was a little big but worked perfectly for the wedding."

"We wore his & hers beer garden costumes (both from BuyCostumes.com) at the Halloween festivities in Lahaina, Hawaii and they were a big hit! We carried actual beer steins from Germany and got tons of compliments, laughs, and people shouting "Riiiicola!" at us across the street, etc. The Hansel costume itself was well-constructed of nice materials and wore very well throughout the night. We'd recommend this costume to anyone wanting this look."

"I wouldn't change anything about this costume. It is super comfortable and fits perfectly! The material for the shorts and hat is as soft as suede. It's very authentic as well, convincing enough for a local German to approach me at the party to ask me what part of Germany I was from!"

"My husband searched all over for an authentic german costume that would not be too expensive! He lived in Germany for a few years so he knew what he was looking for. This costume really suited what he wanted, and the price was great! He loves the faux suede material used on it. He is 6' 4" so he was worried about the fit, but a size XL fit great! He let the straps all the way out when putting it on and he had to tighten them up a couple of inches, which was surprising. I know that he will wear this as a costume in the coming years as well. It was an awesome deal that it came with the pants, shirt, socks and hat! You just won't find a better deal than this, with such good quality material!"

"I purchased this costume for my husband and he tried it on as soon as it arrived. He loves it and thinks the hat *makes* the costume!

The only 2 minor downfalls to this costume is that he tried to unsnap a snap on the front that was just for show and it came off in his hand - - not a big deal - - we're just going to reattach it with some tacky glue and he said that he's going to have to take the costume off in order to go to the bathroom but I think he'd have to do that with almost any costume out there.

Buycostumes.com is an awesome site. I really found it helpful that they emailed me when his size was in stock. The costume arrived SUPER FAST, too!"

"I am extremely happy with this purchase. It arrived in under a week shipping to Canada.

I'm 6'1" 195lbs and went with a medium. It's a little snug, but I'm glad I didn't get one that's too big.

The nice surprise for me is that the hat fits well - I was nervous with some of the other reviews that it would be too small. They must have changed what used to ship with this package because I have a very large head and it fits just fine.

I'll be adding a picture soon so you'll see the final product."

"BLUF - good buy. It was a huge hit. Obviously, the price should always be lower, but I have to say it was worth it. Every link on google took me straight to this site and when I tried to check the price anywhere else, buycostumes.com was the lowest. The shipping was fast and my friend bought one and had to replace it because of size issues and it wasn't a problem at all. Again, it was a hilarious hit and I plan to keep it around and find any and every excuse to wear it."

"The quality is pretty good but for the money I would say its not bad. Real leiderhosen would cost you much more than this so it was a good buy. We got both the beer girl and the beer guy and had a blast!
It's a comfortable fit and is true to size (XL fits a 38-40 waist and 48-50 chest). The tunic was a little lightweight but the trim is very realistic."
