"I purchased this for a pirate themed party to add as an accent. The bird is cute but the straps that are designed to tie him on your shoulder are poorly made and it does not balance. I could not get the bird to stay on my shoulder and ended up not using it. Don't waste your money!!!"

"The price was very economical (even after converting to $AU) and adding in the shipping. I was absolutely stunned at how quickly it arrived and very confident with the security of the site for overseas credit card transactions. I read the other reviews and understood that the parrot may not be the ideal fashion accessory and will end up living on the side of bar as a decor later in the night. He makes a great prop for photos and I will wear him on may arm when greeting my guests. I am sure he will get a bit 'ruffled' during the night's events but he arrived in good shape and as I expected."

"The parrot was a good size and the price was excellent.
The only thing was the tail feathers were coming undone a bit too quickly. Also, it was hard to keep the parrot perched on one's shoulder even with the elastic bands provided. Otherwise excellent product."

"We bought this in addition to my husbands pirate costume. It will work great! It comes with elastic straps....supposedly to connect to something but we haven't found out what yet. We'd like the parrot to sit on his shoulder and tried tying it around his arm but it would slide. Seeing that my husband is in a wheelchair, we can attach it easily there. If we ever see a Jimmy Buffet concert we'll be able to use it there too."
