"I loved this costume. Very easy to get into. Just slip over your head. You can wear anything under the costume because the costume is so roomy. The head peice is a little flimsy. But I stuck tooth picks in the horns to give it some weight. It worked a little. I also added some glitter to jazz it up a bit. I was the best costume at the party!!! Everyone loved it."

Title: Magnificent Maleficent !!

"We love this costume! We buy several costumes per year and this is by far one of the best. It slips over your head and will fit most sizes. My 8 yr old son also loves this costume, he walks around the house with the costume on and holds out his arms, hissing. When your arms are held out, the colors of the costume just flow. You can easily fix the head piece to stand up more with a little pillow stuffing. You will love this costume!"

"I have loved this costume since the day I saw it. I have received the costume but I haven't worn it for Halloween yet. I will probabaly have to hem it because I am short and it looks a little long. I read the reviews and was prepared for the headpiece. I used a steamer to make the horns stand up and for the price I am totally satisfied with my purchase. I may pad the horns but I haven't decided yet. All in all - very pkeased."

"I was not impressed by this costume. I order many costumes every year from your site and this one was just not up the the usual standards. For a deluxe piece it is really under standards for you. It does not look full like the photo at all. The head dress is a flimsy piece of foam and the tunic is just a simple slip over the head one piece. It is not as long as it is shown in the photo and the collar is not a good stand up foam but stays bend over like a collar.."

"This costume is good quality for the price. The robe is big and comfy and not too thin. As other's have mentioned, the headpiece is simply styrofoam and difficult to make stand up. I starched mine and added purple glitter glue stripes for a more impressive (sparkly) look. One thing, the back of the headpiece is open, so if you have light hair, you may want to look into a way of covering it (I have very long blonde hair and this was my only complaint). Overall, a fun costume."

Fog effect

"This costume got a lot of great feedback from both adults and kids. The dress and collar were first class, however the headpiece, as others had said before, was really poor. I like my costumes to look "finished" and while this makes a great base, you definitely need to tweak the headpiece to deliver the effect.
I'm no sewer by any means, but I actually rolled shoulder pads into tubes, and tacked the horns around them, to give the horns dimension/strength at the base. I added pipe cleaners twisted around the horns to give them more effect and voila - WAY better headpiece!! Without that, the head piece looked strange as it's just cut out thin flat foam which sticks straight out of your head. Added some dramatic makeup (green face, purple and black eyeshadow), red nails and big purple gothic rings. It was the hit of the party!
I'm a size 16 and the regular size costume fit me fine and was still flowy."

"The actual costume it´s very good the colors are bright and it`s well made, but the biggest disapointed was the head piece it´s complety awful ít´s just a big piece of foam not even well cutted... it´s really looks terrible, the horns couldn´t even stand up... too bad because it´s looks complety different from the one it showns on the picture."

"I wanted a costume that was scary (but not to scary for the little ones) and something that would allow me to put a sweater underneath, it's cold in Canada at the end of October you know. "I had purchased the Magnificent costume in the Plus size, but it was too big. I then ordered this Maleficient costume in the Standard size thinking that it was the same quality costume that I had originally ordered, just smaller. I WAS WRONG, and returned this costume immediately!
The Plus size version is wonderful....headpiece, and base material of the costume is high quality. The headpiece on this Standard size is made of foam and the overall costume material is much cheaper than the Plus size version. Buyer beware!"

"Overall this was a wonderful experience. Just like the other comments state, the order was shipped promptly and got to me in about a week with the cheapest shipping. I was also a little disappointed with the headpiece. It is a dark grayish light foam material and does not look like picture. It will require some slight tweaking to get the points to stand up straight as they are still being stored and shipped folded in half. But really in the grand scheme of things what costume does not require a little tweaking when you get it home. The robe itself was better than the picture, the stripes of pink and purple are in a rich satin fabric. The robe is a little see through, so do expect to have something to wear under it! It is a nice, comfy, warm costume. Oh yea, and I am a shortie. 5'2" and the robe is not too long."

"I would have liked this costume if it came in specific sizes. It was too large for me so I ended up returning it. I purchased the staff as well. It too would have made a great addition to the costume. The costume was comfortable. You could have worn anything under it. The material was simple and thin. The hat (horns) was made of thin Styrofoam. When I received them they were bent. They tie under your chin. I would recommend this costume to someone fitting the medium to large size ranges. I am a small and it was simply too big."
