"Great costume, my 3 yr. old loves it. It isn't even Halloween yet and he won't take it off, he wears it everywhere. I've even washed it already, cold water in the hand wash setting of my washer & hang dry, it washed really well still looks brand new. I'm glad I read the reviews & went with a smaller size, (sizes run big) & I also like the fact the mask is seperate from the cape, so that way he can wear the cape with the costume and not have to have his face covered all the time."

"This was an excellent costume. Seems well made and looks great... however it runs extremely big. This is the toddler size of the costume, but was ridiculously large on our 3 year old. It fit our five year old perfectly. Not a big problem we will just save it for him for next year."

"Unfortunately the costume runs REALLY big, so you may want to order the next size smaller. My son is a tall kid, but it was still huge on him. The chest is a bit stiff, and that made it uncomfortable when he tried it on. It's not soft like the dark knight costume we wound up with, instead the chest is hollow and stiff, like it's missing padding, or something. The belt is really a disappointment, too, but that's the case with all the Batman costumes we tried. You have to tie it in the back, so it looks more like a karate belt on backwards than what it should look like. It really should be plastic all the way around with a latch in back, but it's not. I suggest ordering the other belt they sell separately, instead. Otherwise, the costume is well constructed."

"My son is 4 and I bought the appropriate size...just too big. The chest is very bulky. It was even too big for my 5 1/2 yr old. I bought a different costume in same size and it fit both kids great. So beware...the costume runs big!"

"As others have stated, this costume runs a tad too big. I got a toddler and my son is a 3T and the muscles bunched up on him and I had to make sure he wore shoes or the pants would go over his feet and drag on the ground. (1St Pic) My nephew is a 5t and it fit him really well. Seemed sturdy, although I haven't washed it. Alll and all, I would buy it again if I needed too."

"This costume is cute and lookes adorable on. It seems to run really large, as it was very big on my 35 lb boy who is 2 yrs old. It's also large relative to the costume I got for his twin in the same size. The size issue, however, is only apparent in the chest.
I only gave it two stars for quality because I've washed it twice and it's already falling apart. The fabric is glued to other layers of fabric for the decorations (such as on the arms) and that has already come lose and needs to be glued back on. The instructions say to hand wash and I strongly suggest that you do, as I'm quite sure a washing machine would tear it apart even on the gentle cycle."

"My 2 1/2 year old has been very "patiently" awaiting this order. He already has the black muscle chested batman costume in the toddler size and it fits a bit snug in the arms (but he still wears it EVERYDAY). So when I ordered this Brave and Bold Batman costume I almost ordered the next size up. I am extremely glad I didn't though... Because it SWALLOWS my 2 year-old!! And it says it is supposed to fit a 1 year old. According to all my pediatrician visits my 2 year old is in the 95th percentile for height and size... SOOO I don't exactly understand the sizing chart especially when the other one fits. Oh well... He loves it regardless of the size and I don't believe I have time to search for another one. And a tuck here and there and a few very well hidden safety pins or hemming tape might do the trick. I would only recommend if you are buying the costume for a child where they would be able to get a size smaller than the company recommends! Oh yeah... The Cape is nothing like the cape in the picture.. Much smaller and Shorter!!"

"Bought this for my 2 3/4 year old Batman lover, and he has had so much fun with it! He asks every day to wear it, but I'm trying to save it for Halloween. I bought the Toddler size and it is a bit big, but nothing we can't work with. Great quality and mask is very easy to keep on and doesn't bother my son at all like some others. "I bought a small that indicated it should fit a 3-4 year old child. My almost 4 year old is a little bigger than the average size, so I thought this size might actually be too small, but it is way too big. Very large across the chest, mask is too large for his head, and it's way too long in the arms and legs. Belt is not exactly as displayed - no black lines on it. And, the cape is very thin and cheaply made."

"My 3 year old loves this costume! He's already worn it for hours in just the few days since it arrived. Though my son wears the whole costume, it's nice that the cape, mask & belt are separate. The costume seems pretty comfortable and the fit is generous. We ordered the toddler size, and our son usually wears 3T/4T and tall and it fits perfectly. It's brought hours of fun already, and the countdown has begun to Halloween!"
