"Great outfit that truly reflects Cobra Commander from the 80's cartoon. It's a bit pricier than I would like to pay and they sent a larger size than what I wanted; however, the helmet was cool with its one way mirror effect. Additional double sided tape is needed to hold the front together because the small velcro dots are insufficient."

"I really liked this one and so did everybody else...The helmet is great!!! I love the visor nobody can see inside and I had no problem seeing out. I added some extra velcro to help keep it done up and split the seam so I could get in my pockets, but I was really impressed with it!"

"Overall the costume was a great buy. I'm about 5'9", 170lbs so the outfit was loose fitting. I managed to simply fix this by using safety pins on the arms and legs. I bought the recommended boots so the safety pins were covered by those and the gloves covered up the arms. I suggest buying both the boots and the knife because it really help complete the costume. The boot covers are pretty bad too. The mask really sells this outfit. I had a lot of great complements throughout the night."

"1) I'm 5'10 and 180ish so it fits a little loose but not that badly. It's a little long but don't have time to hem.
2) It's hot as mammerjammer inside that mask. I hope to be outside when wearing this or in some a/c which isn't too likely considering the time of year. And yes, it's a bit flimsy.
3) Must limit the number of beers as it does not appear it will be super easy to use the bathroom in the costume.
4) Gloves are flimsy and clumsy, but will work for this costume.
5) I'm using some double-sided tape or vecro along the front opening as the one tiny velcro patch does not keep this tight.
6) The knife sheath does not seem to want to stay in place. Black duct tape works though.
7) I have my own black boots so didn't need to buy any others or use the lame covers.
8) that belt is horrible. I'm thinking of cutting it off and using this military-style belt I have and gluing the "gold" emblem on it.
Now you know ... and knowing is half the battle."

"Nice costume. I had worried about how it would fit based on prior comments and the "one size fits all", but it actually fits me well, and I'm average size - 5'9 and 170 lbs. Like others said, the mask is shiny and reflective, rather than the dull metal in the pic. The gloves and boots fit well, and the mask is pretty sweet. Absolutely no way anyone can see in, but you can see out, which is cool. I'm glad I got it, can't wait to rock it for a few Halloween parties!"

"Have to say that this is a great costume, and I am going to have the best costume at the Halloween party this year. Had to make some adjustments but it was worth the effort, had to get the arm and legs taken in but it is worth it. Also, got the dagger and this costume is great. Got a military rope to go around my shoulder and I really look just like the Cobra Commander. If any one who wants to be this for Halloween that you should get it, really great costume. Also, got the Shazam boots and are much better that the boot covers.

"The suit is a one piece, 100% polyester, with a nice thickness to it. Little velcro strips hold everything together. The mask is a three part unit that looks great when assembled, also with velcro. The only down side was the fake belt which only went around the front half. This was most likely due to the one size fits all ... a full belt would have restricted the size of person able to wear it. Overall, I was very happy with it and it looks like it will last for a long time."

"There are not many places that we were able to find a Cobra Commander Costume. This was one of the few. I was a little worried about the "one size fits all" sizing, but it worked ok on my boyfriend who is 5'9 and about 190 lbs. Unlike another reviewer, ours did come with the buttons on the front. The mask is great- you can't find ones like this anywhere else. It is easy to see out of, yet you cant see through the mirror-like surface. -And like the others said, it is the shiny chrome unlike the picture shows. It also comes with that little blue kerchief that is shown around the neck, which was not listed in the costume contents. We are overall very happy with the costume."

"I bought a seperate mask last month. The Mirror stuff comes off. So get some kind of foam dust mask to wear underneath. My mask has a scuff mark in the middle where my nose rubs against it. Try to keep moisture off it. It scratches easy. It might be easly fixed by puting crome paint inside.
I was Glad to see the costume does not open in the back giving it a emergency room gound look. The front opens and has a small velcro thing holding it as big as a dime. mine came with buttons. gloves are lite cloth. The cartoon CC didnt have big boots so you can go with or without the boot covers.
Im average hight, 200 pds. its fits a bit tight in the shoulders and will fit someone taller and lighter nice"

"Great looking costume. Mask is very shiny - chrome. It's better looking than the picture. The 3 silver buttons on the front of the costume do not exist. A hidden Velcro attachment closes the suit. You could buy buttons and sew them on as I will do, but it's not as pictured.
Suit fitting - I'm 6'0 and weigh 215lbs and am muscular all over. The suit seems loose fitting around the entire suit for the exception of my chest and shoulders. Gloves and boot covers are also loose. I believe the costume is pulled taut for picture purposes. Slight modifications can be made to fit like the picture, but buying it early is the key to making the changes."

"It means XL is the only size they carry. Unless you are a bigger guy, this won't fit right. I'm about average size L. Besides that I didn't expect the helmet to be so cheaply velcroed together, and the costume could be done a lil better. But I get what I paid for. It should be worth $39 at most."
