Title: Cute, but falls apart Date: October 25, 2009
"What a shame with this costume. I LOVE the look of it and it is a very pretty costume, but my daughter only had it on for a few hours and practically every seam has come undone. I replaced the velcro closure with a snap closure, and she put a leotard on underneath because she said the costume was really itchy. None of that does any good if the costume falls apart anyway. The ribbons that tie in the back didn't stay attached and are completely unraveled. This isn't a super expensive costume, but it isn't cheap either...really disappointed. :("

Title: Never again Date: November 19, 2009
"I bought this for my 3 year old daughter. Literally within minutes of opening the costume the "netting" fabric started shreading. She didn't have it on for more than 15 minutes, in the house, and the hat tore and the front of the dress. Later on the hem area fell out. The whole thing had to be trashed. The most durable part was the tights believe it or not. Very cute but should very, very cheaply made."

Title: Good, with Caveats Date: October 21, 2009
"I purchased this for my 29 pound 3 year old. I still have not tried it on her, but it appears to be the correct size (will fit and ends above the knees.) The dress has a white belt which can be tied in back to bring to the correct fit for each child, but the workmanship tends to be poor quality (which, sad to say, is what I expected.) The red bows are attached by a very skimpy tack and the top of the dress in the back has velcro fasteners rather than a button or snap. The hat is a joke. It is simply material, with no "cardboard" or firm material to hold it upright, and has no fastening to attach it to a child's head. (In other words, it just flops over and then falls off as soon as the child moves.) I'm going to have to rig some sort of paper/cardboard cone to keep it upright and attach elastic to either side of it to go under my daughter's chin or under a ponytail in the back. I haven't used or even opened the tights, yet, so I don't know if they are good quality or even the right fit. I hope so. The dress comes very wrinkled and smashed in the mail, so make sure to pull it out and let it smooth out before the big day."
