"Not true to the size chart they run alittle big. I had to buying heel and sole inserts for them to fit so I spent a little more than I entended to but they looked great and my daughter loves them."

"I bought the Target red sparkle shoes as a back up in case these didn't work out. I am returning the Target shoes, because these are perfect. My daughter says they are very cushion-y and comfortable. The glitter comes off a little, yes, but not excessively and so do the Target ones anyhow. And they look like the ones in the movie! We are very happy."

"I ordered these shoes to complete my 4 1/2 year old daughter's Dorothy costume. After reading other reviews, I decided to call customer service for size input. I was told the shoes run small. I measured my daughters feet with a tape measurer. In length she was a small and in width she was a medium. Wth the size input in mind, we went with the medium. That was what I was originally going to order prior to measuring her feet. The shoes arrived quickly and she wanted to wear them the same day they came. These are fun shoes that she can wear even after Halloween. I did get them on sale and had a percent off coupon so I thought the price was fair. Even at regular pirce, they were still less expensive than what I saw at other sites. I am very happy with my purchase!"

"I have been searching for a ruby red shoe to compliment my 5 year old daughters Wizard of Oz dress for Halloween. I have purchased 4 pairs of shoes trying to get the right size. My daughter wears a size 13. I purchased the large and they were too big. I purchased the medium and they are tight but she will wear them on the 31st. Placing the order has been very easy and delivery has been awesome. The shoes are very pretty and I am keeping both pairs!"

"Shoes are very cute and my grandaughter of 4 loved to match her Dorothy outfit however sizing is a bit strange when going from xs to small. I am sending the xs back and keeping the small. There really needs to be a better fitting. I bought inserts and cut to put in shoe along with thicker socks so that they would fit. The length was okay but the width is so wide that the shoe does not stay on. I do think that the shoes are a bit pricey for a childs costume. Glitter does come off shoe by just walking normal as well as black marks on the floor of kitchen which did not excite grandpa."

"i purchased these for my 4year old daughter to go w/ her dorothy costume for halloween. she love them so much, she is very much into the wizard of oz! i must say i looked around on the web a lot to find the right shoes to buy and i am happy i purchased them from buycostumes i saw others that just did look like shoes, but more like slippers these are definately shoes and i am sure my daughter will get a lot of use out of these. also, i had seen these same shoes on other websites, but the cost was much more and also the shipping was ridiculous. i am very pleased w/ the cost of shipping and they were shipped in a timely manner!!! the only negative thing i must say is that i did order a larger size b/c other reviews said they ran small and they were HUGE on my daughter, i don't know if she just has small feet or what, but they did not run small for her."

"The shoes were cute, just right for the costume. Very hard to find the right size though they use small, medium and large. They could have gone by actual shoe sizes, this would have made life alot easier. A little pricy too, for the quality. But over all the shoes does complete the outfit. Where would Dorothy be without her Ruby slippers?"

"Just wanted to help with sizing. They run big, and the measurments of the size charts are off. My five year old daughter is a 12 1/2 shoe size and the large was about an inch too big, so I ordered the medium. They are cute though and cushioned for walking."

"These shoes run VERY small, so be careful about placing your order. There was no guidance about sizing what-so-ever (only Small, Medium and Large) when making the purchase and I ended up with a pair of shoes that are a toddler size for my almost seven year old daughter! My daughter loved the shoes but was EXTREMELY disappointed they don't fit!!!
In conclusion: The quality of the shoe is good, but it is difficult to determine what size to order and we ended up with shoes that don't fit."

"THe shoe overall is cute. The bow tie is a little weak, the shoe was a little tight & my daughter buys off the rack. I found that based on the price, I think it could be a little cheaper.

"These shoes are not sold by shoe size they are sold by inches. I measured my daughters shoes and bought the size Large, they were way to big. I then purchased the size Medium, they were way to small. What about the size in between? I now have to pay postage and return postage on both pairs."

So as soon as I receieved them I was able to return them to BuyCostumes.com with no problem and they reimbursed my credit card as soon and they received the return.
